Are You One of the People Considered "Essential" ???
by RubaDub ini keep hearing all of the things about "essential" people in this convid-19 virus thing.. well, i woke up this morning, did my morning poop, and just felt like i am essential.
i walked around my house while my wife was still sleeping, did the alexa thing to hear the daily text.
it made me feel good.

You are right on all of your comments. At an "appropriate" time, I will totally open up.
Being a 4th Gen Dub, being in school with the flag salute / national anthem thing, I did use humor to try to deflect some of the "pain" if you want to call it that. In fact, I was in the top 5% of my high school class and everyone was getting titles, "Most Likely to Succeed" and other titles. Several called me the "Class Ass."
Add that to this sitting in your house all day with the COVID-19 thing, yes, I am a bit bored.

by minimus inthankfully my best friend who got this terrible malady is doing well after being in the hospital for more than two months!
i see some people who are still petrified over this virus.
they are still virtual prisoners in their own homes.

I like that. As my neighbor told me who works in a hospital, the hospitals get a lot more $$$$$ from the government if the person tests positive for COVID-19 and then dies, whether the person knows he/she has it or not.

his family moved to arizona about 15 or so years ago.
since i left the jw's and he didn't, i never contacted him again.

If the letter is in Portuguese, perhaps it has to do with cancelling the rooming arrangements and Society recommended hotels during Carnival 2021 in Brasil.
Just my thoughts. I could be wrong.
But I do have Carnival on my bucket list to do someday. Wife and I do Fantasy Fest here in Florida (Key West) every year and did Mardi Gras (New Orleans Louisiana) once. We would never go back to Mardi Gras again.
I hope that Carnival in Brasil is more like Fantasy Fest. The Mardi Gras thing in New Orleans has too many people just pissing in the streets and it tends to smell quite nasty.
