I would expect a "simplified" donation amount would be to just send them a years worth of signed checks, leave the dollar amount blank, and let them take care of the rest.

I have a friend, Brother Fader who I often go fishing with. He was an MS about 20 years ago then made the fade over several years. I asked him several times if he gets calls or visits and he said he did for the first couple of years but basically after that he has only seen anyone when he was shopping or something. They were generally courteous but no one shunned, just basically chit-chat.
As newsheep mentioned, a lot is left up to the discretion of the local elders. If you go peacefully, there is much less of a chance for problems. If you say anything negative, at best you will be shunned.

I think they realized that everyone will have internet access and just having a basic website would only get people online and then they would start looking around more.
At least this way, they can flood the website with more stuff than anyone can watch so there is no reason to go anywhere else.
They follow the model of the Mormons; Internet, Roku, etc.

The Dems get at least 80-90% of the black vote every election.
The problem for career politicians like Biden is that they have voting records over many years. Unless it is a "clean" bill to vote on (only one item on the bill which is rare), there is a hodgepodge of things you like and don't like. Put 10 things in a bill that you like and 10 things you don't like and then do a yes/no vote on it. You immediately have a public voting record. It's the way the system works.
Put two things into a bill 1) Provide money for victims of domestic abuse 2) Require a long waiting period on purchasing a gun. Take your yes/no vote: You now have a voting record. Good luck. Someone won't like it.
Vote for it, you are against the NRA. Vote against it, you are against victims of domestic abuse.
