  Meet the greatest heavyweight champ of all time

  and no, it wasn't muhammad ali.. by most objective measures, the greatest heavyweight champ of all time was a guy called joe louis.. he reigned for nearly twelve consecutive years (june 1937 - march 1949) and made a record 25 successful consecutive title defences.

  since 1949, every heavyweight champ has tried to break or even match this record.

  all have failed.

  Joe Louis, that's what my father told me. He thought he could beat Ali.

  It's just so hard to compare athletes from different eras. Even in baseball, Babe Ruth would likely not even get a try-out on a team today. Could you imagine him doing a 40 yard dash? Yet he is considered one of the best baseball players ever., at least in his time.

  In NBA basketball, Wilt Chamberlain once scored 100 points in one game (and no 3 point shots like we have today). Yes, he was about 7 feet tall and everyone else was about a foot shorter at that time. Today, there is nothing exceptional about being 7 feet tall.

  It is an interesting debate over a few brews.

  Meetings via video conference

  so i just heard from a very reliable source that meetings, at least in some locations are now being video fed to the sheeple.

  and guess what?

  one can even comment and be seen by other members of the conference, for more encouragement.. i did see though that the service providing this video tie-in has as part of their tos this: you will receive a notification (visual or otherwise) when recording is enabled.

  I can’t imagine watching the meetings at home, and being forced to dress up in a dress or suit and tie.

  Biahi ...

  People can just wear a shirt and tie or a blouse.

  You can be naked from the waist down.

  I was not mentioning about obliterating their economy, if you re-read the thread; Simon made that comment. I was simply opining about how difficult or impossible it would be to do that given the wide reach that China has into the rest of the world.

  As you mention about health care, I was SHOCKED when I saw that 90% of major medicines come from China. That is shocking to me. So China is holding us by the short-hairs when we need medicine? Aren't we paying enough for prescription drugs, often 5 or 10 times or more than other near-by countries?

  I am still in shock.

  Expect some serious decoupling, the US should become an industrial powerhouse and obliterate their [China's] economy.

  When they work for $2 an hour and we work for $25 an hour, while at the same time manipulating their currency, it would be hard to obliterate their economy. China is expanding and the latest example is a huge expansion of trade with countries in South America.

  It would be a huge challenge to obliterate their economy due to their worldwide expansion. On a recent trip to South America, my wife and I were shocked by the number of Chinese cars there.

  I also saw several dealerships that sell MG vehicles. I thought "Wow", I haven't seen them here in the US for many years. In the end, they told me that your once sacred British MG brand, is now a Chinese product. China also now owns Volvo. GM's Buick line would also not exist were it not for the Chinese. GM got rid of Pontiac and Oldsmobile but for some unknown reason the Chinese like Buicks. I have no idea why.

  Anyway, how do you stop them?

  all of the stores around my area ran completely out of toilet paper this last weekend.

  people were piling it into their carts and vehicles as if they were going to be holed up for a year.

  I beg to differ. I could have suggested a 40 grit sandpaper instead of the smoother 80 grit.

  For the hard - assed GB ....only sand paper would clean their hemorroid infected asses

  Hairtrigger ...

  I would recommend a radial disc sander starting with 80 grit sandpaper.

  The cordless Ryobi model P411 would personally be my choice.

  Guns and ammo selling out fast

  i went to my local walmart today and most of the can goods and frozen foods were sold out.

  i did a web search from where i buy ammo from, lucky gunner, sg ammo, buds and others.

  bulk ammo is sold out just over night.

  LMAO ... When working from home, grab a laptop and make the toilet your chair.

  If on a video conference or Skype, just remember to move the air fresheners out of view.
