i love rhythm and blues and soul music.

i love funk but i also enjoy music of the 60s and 70s.

just not really into classical or country western although some country is pretty good..

I will die with (in the old Song Book) song 32, Gratitude for Divine Patience in my head. As kids in the hall, when you had a real piano at the KH, we would practice that after the meetings.

I know nothing else on the piano, but I can play that song with with three or four fingers to this day.

It's kind of scary. When I hear Billy Joel's Piano Man, I get flashbacks to that song and break out in a cold sweat.

i haven't been on here in quite some time so i apologize if i missed a similar thread already (i did look for one :) ) anyways, just to be clear i think the jw response to covid in general has been really positive and proactive and they've done really well trying to educate people on covid, doing zoom meetings, etc to prevent spread within the congregations.

the part that i find interesting is how compliant and non-apocalyptic the branch has been during all of this.

even as someone who's a bit of a skeptic i found myself wondering if this might be the beginning of the end between covid, economic upheaval, and blm.

loyal JW seniors who are the most vulnerable in this pandemic! Once these people are gone, that’s it.

I totally agree. That is where the money is coming from, especially from people who have homes that have appreciated in value for the past 30, 40 or 50 years.

It's true Melania is attractive, but she also is a tr_mp. Years ago, no one would be elected to the office of president with a wife who has nude pictures available/accessible for the world to see!

I think Trump did some good with the predominantly young crowd in Arizona at his rally.

Especially when he mentioned the young people involved with sports at the University.

Trump definitely has the vote of the athletic supporters.
