In the USA, why so often is the vote for President just a vote against someone?
by RubaDub inin my lifetime, (i will include kennedy even though i was probably breast-feeding at the time), but it seems that there have been relatively few presidents that we vote "for.
" my list would be kennedy, reagan, clinton and obama.
i'm not talking about their politics here but who generally got voted for, instead of simply voting against.. any thoughts?.

Like it or not, and I'm not even sure myself, but Biden's presidency will most likely be leadership by committee.
We currently have a narcissist loose cannon and the other option is to have the President's cabinet and advisors to run the country, or for that matter, as you say, the Western World.
In a country of 330,000,000 people, this is the best combo we can find?

I'm still "in", but occasionally when doing the Zoom thing, I did put on a shirt and tie; but I wasn't wearing pants.I just ordered from Amazon one of those t-shirts that looks like a tuxedo.

Maybe I'll just let my wife watch the show. I can put on my suit and badge, go outside, be an attendant in security, and watch my cars in the driveway. At the 45 minute mark, I will come in and take attendance and confirm that she is watching.
I'm thinking when I am walking around in my suit in the sun and watching my cars, it will be a good witness for my neighbors. Perhaps when they see me, I can show them my badge and invite them to one of the sessions.

Maybe some of his posts were getting too political and he was deleting them. Perhaps that vicious cyclical post -> delete thing just wears you out after awhile.
Anyway, I hope he's OK. I hope he gets some air and goes to his pub on Sunday.
