Kudos to those who have made it past "the barb wire" of The Watchtower Gulag.

One person asked how we discern those who can be helped. Well, it's a process. Little tid bits of info to see if a person responds. Having them over for tea. Drawing them up. Helping them appreciate confidentiality. Providing them with clear proof. Starting off by taking information that they are not cognizant of yet current info. Carefully phrased, you can really throw a wrench in their works. Example: "Hey John, just think that in just a few years, the Watchtower will celebrate the first centenial aniversary of the kingdom. Yes 2014 is just around the corner. Hey, then the're will only be 900 years left of the Kindom.I hope the end comes soon". And try to be sincere, no sarcasm.

How to not get caught. Never allowing yourself to be cornered. Stressing confidentiality. Finding out what pieves the person and making sure that distaste for Watchtower grows enough to keep them silent while persuing the truth.

How to keep going? Now that's harder. So often you want to puke. We miss many meetings. We do other stuff while we are there. You can actually be sitting in the hall and be somewhere else. Bring your own printed material and slip away in your chair.

What do you think if JWD puts up a thread called UNDERGROUND RAILROAD ...?

Has the WTS unofficially removed the U.N. from it's doctrine?

does anyone know if the wts has mentioned the united nations in any of it's magazines aside from the kingdom news publication?

i get thefeeling that the wts has done a complete turn around on this matter and left all the j-dubs out of the loop.. as it is, there is absolutely no sign that the u.n. is trying to destroy religions anywhere in the world.

i can't imagine the u.n. ever taking a stand against radical islam much less the wts.

I am an "active" JW. I serve. Give talks. Preach the kingdum.

I also educate from within.

So far, I have helped several.

First, my wife, who is now my best companion and helper in our new vocation.

Next, one whole family out and into a new life. Kudos to them!

Another family knows the "truth" and fades.

Another sister left abruptly and has a new lease on life. Bravo...:)

Presently working on a few. Chiseling away at the WT barnacles on their brains.

Who is with me...?

PS: I wouldn't mind if a new area here could be devoted to this.

I think that about sums up Watchtower. Ya think...

Really, just look at the guy's posting name and see he's a newbie. He will never be more than that. Once you start to debate in earnest, he's gone.

it is interesting to note that clive thomas (canadian branch office) spoke during his part in such a way as to betray the fact that he was personally aware that what he was saying was false.. it's one thing when a local onion gets exuberant about parroting the gb's nonsense.

it's quite another when a bloodsucker like clive comes from the branch and does a "bait 'n switch" the way he did.
