However, you suggest that a few FADS members being killed would be a good idea from their perspective. Somehow, I don't think they share the view that a few of them being knocked off would be welcome. How would they choose which one of them should die so that the position of the others would become stronger? I suppose they could use the tried and true method of selecting straws. But I feel strongly that the one who got the short straw would somehow feel that he.... well, got "the short straw".

I remember back when the first suggestion came out that the Watchtower joined the United Nations. I wish I could post all the negative comments about that from Hourglass2.
The mere idea that it could have happend was derided to no end.
I did not join that group. I was open-minded, and had enough imagination that it could have happend.
I took it one step farther. I called the UN and spoke to Paul Hoeffel at length and persuaded him to produce the document that is shown in Crisis of Conscience, having scanned the original and emailed it to Ray myself. I went further and worked with my associate to gather all the evidence to prove it. Evidence you all take for granted today.
Today, everyone is like.. "Ya man, of course, we knew that",
...but before we got the proof ... well those of us who had immagination ...'we wore tinfoil hats'.

Does your brain even work? You do the same thing as Watchtower by using a straw-man argument. Nobody suggested that.
First, according to you, they need to put the podium as far back as possible. Good. Farther from speakers.
Then why did they put up a curtain up front, with the majority of the stage behind it, and force the podium towards the front?
You made my argument for me. My point was exactly that. The podium should be farther back, and the curtain farther still. There's lots of stage there.
I have never, ever ever seen a speaker standing with his back to a curtain, a curtain which doesn't need to be there.
Unless it is hiding something.

First, the podium is not "set back as far as possible". Over 85% of the stage is behind the curtain. The g-boobs are standing in the front 15%. And your notion about feedback shows that you know nothing about sound. I have worked in that department in sound for almost half a century. I have original documents from the branch office from 1972 on the rules for how things ought to be set up. (I was much younger then) And I have qualifications in the area.
And I will thank you to NOT discuss that which you know nothing of. You just display your ignorance.

Ok. Let me point out what you may not have noticed when watching the video.
The stage at the Stanley Theatre is quite large, and deep. Yet the GB boobs are standing with their backs to the curtain. Literally AGAINST the curtain. The podium has been placed so that the GB boob has to squeeze in behind the podium, in front of the curtain. So much room up there and he has to squeeze in.
And why is that curtain there in the middle of such a deep platform? With as much space is available on that stage, they put a curtain up right there.
I wonder what's on the other side of that curtain. Wait... I bet I know.
A quick exit.
On the other side of that curtain is a fortified wall with an open blast door. There are two large brothers just through that open door, standing at the ready. At any moment they can reach through the opening and hoist the governing boob to safety, slam the bullet-proof blast door shut and spirit him quickly to an awaiting vehicle in an undisclosed location.
And NEVER, NEVER, NEVER would the g-boobs all be on the stage together. All in one place. Ah... what a target.
And think of who they are afraid of. Every goody-2-shoes JW in that audience was identified. Faithful dubs who could be trusted.
