  i will start.... number 1) two people have to witness a sin before it is reported to the superior authorities....making me the org the last word in all areas.. the most stupid rule gets to post it once the gb has judged it the most stupid?

  I read that in the 50's when men wore hats they were not to tip them for women. It was idle worship even tho it was the custom back then. Just made the poor dub men look rude.

  Every accusation is investigated. It is not taken lightly even if there is only one accuser. If there is only one accuser and the accused denies the charge, no further congregational action can be taken , we can't go beyond the scriptures. (1 Tim 5:19) It is different if there are two accusers to separate incidents, their testimony may be taken into consideration for establishing a judicial hearing.

  This is so stupid. It is unreal that they apply this to child molestation.

  Also not being allowed to take questions. How dumb is that? Why can they not get it that they are hurting the children? They do not seem to care. If you question then your now an apostate!

  in my current life i know a lot of people who live together.

  some of them might have done this because they do not like marriage, and others have done this as a step towards getting married.

  in all, in my post-witness life i find that i have no problem with either view.

  congratulations on the up coming birth.Do you have a name picked out for the baby? I think it is WONDERFUL that both you and your wife were able to leave at the same time. You are both blessed.

  I'm new & not sure if I have the right post. Was your mom DF'ed and not able to attened your wedding? Is she a JW today or is she still free?

  My mail man is a JW

  he's a new mail man, at least around my neighborhood.

  i used to see him with his family at the hall dressed all pretty in his suit.

  i didn't think witlesses could be mail carriers, have gov.

  I use to work as a mail carrier. A JW sister had the route right next to mine. One brother on her route took Playboy. She showed it to me and asked if "we" should go to the elders. I told her not me I could not afford to loose my job and that he could get her fired. She said "but he's a MS." She never did say anything. She sure gave him hard looks at the hall when no one was looking.

  i have several little nieces and nephews in my life.

  in doing so i have watched them grow from being these little babies, to these children that run all over my house when they visit.

  they are a lot of fun, but some of them have the most nasty of habits.

  I do not mean this to be critical.I know that it is hard to leave. I just hate to see you waste your life away. It is silly to go to all those boring meetings knowing that it is NOT the truth. You can just stop going and then they can do nothing to you. Is your whole family in the borg? I'm new here so I do not know people. I wish you luck in your departure.
