  Does anyone remember the WT or Awake which condemned the movie ET?

  i distinctly remember a paragraph stating that persons needed to turn to christ, not et, or something like that.

  it was hilarious.

  i thought at the time, "this is pathetic, acting as though a fictional character poses a threat to jesus".

  just asking because i'm wanting to expand my musical horizons, looking for some new artists to get into.. my all time most-listened-to cd (and we're talking hundreds of listenings):.

  now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!

  perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.

  now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

  that was quite a bit of one-sided argumentation you opened with. And leaving out all the Arab atrocities over the same time span was really an inspired move.

  i know, fantastic wasnt it? francois, my point was about how israel is portayed in a good light and throwing in the word 'democracy' to justify them having WMD, when it's just as bad as other nations around it. the 'us right, them wrong' argument. see bill pen's post above.

  you see thichi, in order to get a 'balanced' view, you have to look at all sides. i agree with what you say about the surrounding muslim countries, but becuase of those countries you try and paint israel in a good light, when they are just as bad.
