  comet NEAT consumed by monster flare

  the comet c2002v1, apparently, over twice the diameter of jupiter, was zapped by a solar flare some 5 million miles from the sun.

  can we learn two things from this?

  one; a solar flare that size may adversely affect our weather and communications, maybe knocking out satellites, and two, mccanney's theory that comets are not ice but electrically charged plasma balls now seems quite plausible.

  is there anything new on comet NEAT? i know pics from the SOHO satalite were being published up until the CME from the sun, but i've seen nothing since then.

  McCanney says that because of the gravity of comet neat, the matter created by the gaseous reactions in its tail fall back on the comet therefore increasing its size. because of it's size, being the biggest comet to enter our solar system and its increase in size, i cant believe there's no media coverage of it. the silence is deafening.

  i went to mill hill(london bethel) last year for a nosey 'round, and i noticed the traffic and people who go in and out of the complex, and what looked like houses on the main road that belong to the wts.

  i was just wondering if there's anyone on here who knows of what the local residents think about the witnesses there.

  is there the same feeling as there is in brooklyn heights?

  simon i'm sorry i don't mean to rain on your parade but you have to remember the society and your local elders watch for stuff like that.

  this is a very liberal board as far as discussions go and forever thankful for that, but you have to be careful because you could face a jd meeting.

  i'm sure everyone is well aware that some posts on this board just wouldn't go over to well with the society.

  the truth is that humanity needs the god who created this vast universe -- who is known as allah to many, and jehovah to many, or worshipped under a myriad of other names but indeed is but one -- to eliminate the forces of evil in this world through his son, jesus christ.

  as a matter of fact, the bible promises christ will reign as king on his throne from the heavens for the millennium it shall take to establish world peace.. if you are visiting this site out of curiosity about the beliefs of jehovah's witnesses and have this sinking feeling of dispair in your heart as this world descends into social and economic conflict and chaos, then you should be aware that a higher intelligence is about to intervene and save mankind from extinction.

  that intelligence created this universe and its laws of physics to house intelligent life, and what you simply know as "love" eminated from this intelligence!

  dubla knows what he saw. the fbi cliams its genuine, so it has to be that, genuine. whatever the fbi or any other gov agency says is fact unless proved otherwise, you should know that.

  the next thing you'll be saying is that Oswald was not a 'lone gunman', or that Mcveigh couldn't have blown up the the Murrah building with a fertilizer bomb.

  Should WOMEN Serve in Combat???

  for anyone who knows me, i have always been a very strong support for women's right to do as they please in life, but today we had a very interesting discussion about this issue>.

  this is to me one area where i wonder is it really the best thing to do, not so much because of how we in the west perhaps view women in positions and power, but how women are often times viewed by those that we maybe at war with.

  culturally as men we have been conditioned to protect the woman- in fact in almost all cultures that i can think of that basic mindset is held by most men i would dare say-.
