what i'm talking about is a long list of stuff that jw kids aren't allowed to do (e.g., join the scouts, celebrate halloween, etc.

I did a program for the UU Youth Group and brought in my REASONING book. We played a game called "Stump the Witness"--where I knocked on the door and they tried to get rid of me. I used the REASONING book to show them how completely controlled a JW's responses were. They thought it was a blast, I got invited back the next week(the only one on the program that year to get invited back) and after they wanted to know where they could get a copy of that book so they could be prepared to defeat the next JW who knocked on their door! Do you know how tempted I was to go to KH and get some REASONING books and report my time? I would have placed more books than I ever had in 15 yrs of pioneering!

Which "APOSTATE" Site Helped You Out ...

h2o and watchtower observer were the ones that helped me the most.

of course, jwd is the best discussion forum on the net.

the first thing that helped me was The Kingdom Interlinear Greek Translation. Reading Revelation in the greek and then going right across the page to the english made me realize that they translated it to fit their doctrine and thought we were too stupid to figure it out.

Then one day I did a seach on the internet. I figured there was one official JW site, and I expected to come up with a few apostate sites. I did not expect to hit 90,000+ sites(with only one that was acceptable to them....)

Throw in 30 years of waiting for jehovah to fix the corruption I saw 'in his own due time' and the fact that I was asked to lie in court about a scandal that involved a wrongful death, two suicides and my friend's murder and I sort of had a crisis.

H2O, Watchers, and anti-cult sites helped me to get the courage to leave. But it took a year to plan my escape and in the meantime AOL's EXJW chat room was my lifeline.

Ray's books cemented it all. A summer at Harvard Divinity in seminars with library access and a year with the UUs and it was a never-going-back thing. I knew way too much to ever go back.

Click the link below and you will see a kitchen table.
Apparently the owners of this house had been seeing images and
hearing voices for quite a while.

They did some research and found that a lady once lived in the house
who lost her husband during the WWII.

Elderly neighbors say she used to sit at the table looking out forlornly
across the fields anticipating the return of her beloved.

He never came. So, they say, she still waits.
They caught this photo of what they claim is her ghost.

Stare at he kitchen table with out blinking. It will take about a minute of
total concentration.

If you do it correctly, an image will form as if supernaturally, something like
one of those 3-D optical illusion things, but it's clearly not one of those.

I managed to experience it, and it makes me reconsider my skepticism about
the supernatural. I hope you can experience it also.

the agent I talked to didn't know the meaning of the card. He was very nice in fact.

About half way thru the conversation he like had an epiphany and said...'ahhh so the guy is mad at God and picks the things he thinks are the worst things he can do....'

he told me to call back if I thought of anything else.

The most popular form of Satanism is the Atheisitc/Humanistic Modern Satanist. Beyond what I have written you will have to read The Satanic Bible or anything else by Anton LaVey. I did not post to CONVINCE anyone of anything. That is such a Christian attitude! I answered the question. The answer was right there the whole time anyway!

OK so maybe you can READ english but just don't UNDERSTAND it?

Satanists:

Pagan(Traditional Satanists): one who believes in a deity/deities/aspects of deities, who predated the xtian adoption of a bad guy image, usually a horned god or a dark goddess(most call themselves Luciferians to distinguish the enlightening/gnostic aspects of Satan rather than the rebellious nature divided on the issue of whether or not to practice magick, but usually very into ritual;

Anti-Xtian(call themselves Traditional Satanists---but generally piss off all the other Satanists by doing so): one who actually worships the xtian idea of a satan or devil(usually fund among rebellious youth goth groups and not accepted by MOST other groups calling themselves Satanists--these are the ones who are stereotyped as sacrificing virgins, pets and babies.)many are into Chaos magick(altho generally NOT well educated in such), shapeshifting and literal or energy(psi) vampyrism and anything else that they think will shock or piss off their parents. Cult followers of movies.

I personally have come to the conclusion that since we have two hands---right and left---that maybe both canprove useful at the proper times. My pagan path of Stregheria I do not consider to be a right-hand path, because it has no rede governing personal conscience and cursing. But, especially in matters of healing I can see the benefits of Wiccan et al and even Xtianity. My second 'rule' in Chaos Magick is--IF IT WORKS KEEP IT UNTIL IT QUITS.
