  it may not be the main problem or the only problem and i do agree that this needs to be treated as a criminal issue, but let me give you a very good example of why it is important for a problem like this to also be taken care of congergationally.. my father in law dan fitzwater sr has now been taken care of criminally.

  ( no thanks to the wts) he is in prison for child molestation.

  he has been abusing children for a very long time, but he is only serving a short time in prison.

  I just wanted to say that I had NO intentions of offending anyone here!! As you can see, I feel VERY strongly about this issue. My point is; that the 2 Witness policy IS a problem. I do NOT believe it is the ONLY problem nor do I believe that if policy is changed that all problems surrounding this issue will simply vanish. I DO however, believe and KNOW that a child molester is NOT going to molest a child in front of 2 eyewitnesses. That's my point plain and simple. Again, I apologize if I did not make that point clear in my previous post. That is my stand.

  You and I have discussed this issue in the past and you know that I value your opinions and do not think you are stupid or unintelligent!!!!! I also thought; .....maybe I misunderstood: but that you also agreed that a child molester would not be so stupid as to commit this act in front of witnesses. That is my ONLY point here. I treasure and value you as a friend and again apologize if I offended you.

  it's because they all figured out that they really were going to die.

  once a witness understands that millions now living will indeed die, they begin to regress from the witness spirituality.

  it happened to me before i was ever baptized, and continued on after i was baptized.

  it ended when i confronted him and took it to the elders.

  i didn't get anywhere with that so, i moved to a different congregation.

  So, sorry to hear that you were hurt by this Jerk; there are quite a few like that among the JW's, there out there in the "world" too, but not so many. One thing about non JW's; atleast they aren't afraid to make their REAL intentions known. lol Glad to see you are out of the organization: Congratulations!!! I think just about all of us have had this situation happen at least once in our lives.

  A lot of people, men and women have a hard time with REALITY when it comes to the matter of: is a member of the opposite sex really interested or not. I think people have an extremely hard time with the fact that the other person DOES NOT have the same feelings. Therefore feelings of rejection and resentment set in. Fine line between Love and Hate.

  What a GREAT post!!! It is ABSURD to me that some are arguing that the 2 Witness policy is NOT a problem. What planet are they from; HELLO!!!

  IT IS ONE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS!!!!!!! How can any intelligent person argue otherwise.
