Sorry you missed. I remember someone saying someone from JWD couldn't make it due to illness, musta been you. My testimony is online at Towerwatch, The Removal of the Veil, I went up right after Keith. Look forward to meeting you this year. I used to be Apostate Kate here, I lost my log on information and they sent me the logon for this old one. We exchanged email about when I rescued my bird Louie. (Free2BeKathleen) I didn't think that picture looked like you ..lol I thought well mabe your avatar was taken 20 years ago? lol..

Louie hates Zupreme! He is a junk food junkie. We decided he must be a Greater Patagonian Conure and traced his breeder back to your state. We love him so much. He is a character. Do they do something surgicaly to thier wings? He has never been clipped but can't fly. If he falls down off a chair or something he flops down and doesn't even try to flap much. Poor guy. He has fit in real well around here with all the other rescues, dogs, horses, chickens..if someone leaves the door open he runs outside to visit the horses, he loves the horses. The only thing he will eat well is safflower seeds and sunflower seeds. He hates fruit and veggies and will make a gagging sound when I try to get him to eat them...He also will knock on the door when I'm in the bathroom and say "HELLO HELLO HELLO" lol...

I never thought I'd enjoy living with a bird and now I am in love with this goofball!

Soup Recipes Needed

This is a family favorite.

Peruvian Sopa Verde De Carnero

32 ounces organic vegetable broth

1-2 pounds lamb, shanks, neck, whatever you like will do. I usually get a a mix of shanks and neck bones

1 bottle dark beer

1 large sweet onion diced

1-2 bunches cilantro, twist off the stems

2 large cloves garlic pressed

1 large yam shreddded in grater

1 yucca root if available, peel take out center root and cube or 1 large potato peeled and cubed

1 dried California chili, or 1 heaping teaspoon Chipotle flakes

2 carrots shredded

1 stalk diced celery

1 cup frozen peas

Sea salt

pepper

2 tbsp Olive oil

Heat a large fry pan over medium heat with 2 tablespoons oil. Add the meat and brown. Add half of onion, half of garlic, sprinkle with salt and pepper. When nicely browned add to large soup pot over medium heat. Rinse cilantro and blend in blender with 1 cup of the broth. Blend till liquified, add to soup pot, fry for a few minutes. Now add rest of broth, carrots, yam and celery, bring up to light boil, reduce heat and cover for 1 hour. Should be simmering well but not boiling. Add everything else except the beer. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the cubed veggies are done. Remove from heat, add beer, uncover and let sit for 10 minutes. My family loves it! It is quite savory.

I wanted to be an Olympic level Equestrian competetor, cross country, and dressage. I'm too sick now but I do have a horse in the front yard waiting for me to train him.

my wife, liza, came home from work this morning (she was doing the 3rd shift thing) and said she was leaving me.

this afternoon at 1 pm i took her to the bus station.

at 4:20 pm she was off to nyc.
