While I was growing up my parents were pretty stong in the truth. My mother more so. My dad had his ups and downs but they did thier best to raise us kids as witnesses. My dad was never an elder but has been a MS for a long as I can remember. My two sisters are both married to elders. I guess I'm the bad seed.

Were your JW parents spirtually weak or strong?
by moreisbetter ini was a 3rd generation witness on both sides of the family.
even my great-grandomthers were considered witnesses, but i don't know if they were baptized.
my parents however were always considered weak and still are even though my mom has become more involved & for longer periods of time in the last 15 yrs.

Did you ever get put on the spot?
by Soledad inby that i mean from the platform at the kingdumb hall?
i remember some study conductors who had the habit of calling on people in the audience that seemed distracted or unprepared--on purpose so as to embarass them.
some were so out of it when the mic was handed to them they had to ask what was the question, why did you call on me i didnt have my hand up, etc.

The main reasoon I quit going to the tuesday night bookstudy was because the conductor constantly put me on the spot by calling on me to answer or read a scripture when I didn't have my hand up. It pissed me off!! Especially when I repeatedly asked him not to do that.

Should jws eat chocolate/honey/croissant/scallo.
by badboy inps.. chocolate made from from cocoa beans which comes from the theobroma cacao, theobroma means food of the gods.. honey comes from nectar, also a food of the gods in the greek gods scheme.
should jws eat chocolate or honey because of the pagan connections?.
croissants r connected with the siege of vienna, should jws violate their pacifist principals by eating croissants?.

Should JW's exercise? The WBTS says that a "True Christain" should not prcatice Yoga because of its Pagan origin. Aerobics, stretching, physical therapy and most other forms of exercise use variations of Yoga Asanas, thus making them unchristain.

Did you like Genesis?
by JH inwhen i was younger, i listened to groups like genesis, supertramp, pink floyd, and so much more.
were these groups also popular in the united states, or was it just england and canada?
when i used to go to the hall, i never listened to that kind of music because i felt it didn't match the religion i was in.
