  I do remember going along with my sister and her husband while they were dating.

  Ahhh yes, I remember having to go along on dates with my older sister and her boyfreind. I had to wait in the front seat of the car while they were humping in the backseat.

  do you feel a memorial on a hwy is offense?

  here in wisconsin, around 6months ago we had a terrible crash on one of our freeways because of fog and driveing to fast for conditions.there were many casualities, anyway many persons who loved ones died in that crash have memorials at the sight such as crosses ,flowers ,etc.well it seems the county were this happened wrote letters to all persons leaving memorials to stop ,their saying it is a road hazard and a distraction to drivers.well now we hear it is non religious people are complaining , saying it is offense to them to have to drive by these shrines.

  i feel if they dont like it they should close their eyes.

  Washington State has a similar law. I personally don't like to see memorials on the side of road. They look trashy. Especially when people leave stuffed animals, balloons, plastic flowers, pictures, etc,etc. I don't think its any different then littering.

  many jw's can lie and feel that they are only using "theocratic stratergy".

  some people are extremely above board and any thought of lying would not ever be considered.

  some feel that they are very honest but would still cheat on taxes if they could get away with it.

  Has anyone seen Dog Soldiers yet?

  .

  we went to see dog soldiers at the cinema last year and i've just bought the dvd.. an absolutely brilliant film.

  it's about a group of british squaddies on exercise in the highlands of scotland that get attacked by werewolves.. great humour throughout, lots of blood and guts and a good storyline.. take a look at the website: www.dogsoldiers.co.uk.

  I rented it a few weeks ago and thought it was awesome. Very gory though.

  If you like Dog Soldiers, I recommend you watch Brotherhood of the Wolf, if you haven't already.

  Spring 2003

  for those of you residing in the northern hemisphere, there's nothing more satisfying than the onset of spring.

  this a.m., after working a long shift at work, i arrive home after 5 a.m., and it's pleasantly mild (i live in toronto) and the sky is partly cloudy.

  the moon is no longer full, but still very bright.

  I fixed my car's A/C :-D

  i normally don't work on my car because it usually ends up worst off than when i began to "fix" it.

  i brought my car to several places and was turned away every time because they had too much to do already or because they were about to close for easter.

  i was desperate... the texas heat is just too much for me to handle.... walla!

  How bad did Worldly people treat you when you were a JW?

  i grew up in the society and had the pleasure .

  some worldly people would actually hit jw'w because they did not salute the flag.

  (this in a country that prides itself on freedom of religion).

  I grew up as JW and I can honestly say that during my teen years, the "worldy" kids treated me alot better then the witness kids. Most of the witness girls I knew were quite cruel.
