APOLOGIES by real JW's: JW's are NOT False Prophets

jehovahs witnesses, in their eagerness for jesus second coming, have suggested dates that turned out to be incorrect.

It is by inspiration that the scriptures were written. It is not by inspiration that the scriptures are interpreted. My thing is if you don't believe then don't believe. Time will tell all things.

I'm pretty sure when Noah told his message to the people in his homeland that a deluge is about to come upon the earth they laughed in his face for many years. They laughed all the way up to the time Jehovah made Noah enter the ark. I know the Org is hard to believe and follow, it could be comparable to a man of God building a ship on dry land. No one wants to ride until they see water comming then it's too late.

144,000

this is not so much a question as it is to make sure that i am thinking correctly.

the witnesses believe that 144,000 would rule as kings and priests in heaven and the end would not come until all of the 144,000 were in heaven, correct?

so, if this were the case and the witnesses kept a census of how many partook each year and are still doing that today, that means that back in the early 1900s they must of known that all 144,000 were not yet in heaven.

This subject makes me think about Ancient Israel. Long ago before Jesus walked the earth, there were a lot of men claiming to be the Christ. Even after the death of Jesus did some men continue to seek that claim. But in order for people to really pinpoint who the Christ was they had to thoroughly examine the scriptures and prophecies. The Org may have made some bad decisions but I feel they have more information regarding the scriptures than any other so called christian faith hands down.

something has been bugging me for ages about the non-participation of r&f jws in the memorial meal (sounds like a mcdonalds deal) !.

i've just worked out what it is.... only the "anointed" can partake of the emblems.. but at the original meal, as instituted by jesus, no one was anointed.

The Jews that followed Jesus and obeyed his commandments are apart of the foundation of the Holy City Heavenly Jerusalem. They help make up the walls and the width of the city. Each one is a precious stone. Precious to the God and his son Jesus Christ. If it wasn't for the Jews, they world would not have known God. The religious and political leaders of Ancient Israel all plotted to have Jesus killed. They who spoke for the people wanted to free a murderer from death and not the Lord Jesus. They chose destruction instead of honor. They killed their own brothers because they acknowledged that Jesus is the Messiah. They kicked people out of the synagoge because they believed in Jesus. Even after all of the signs that Jesus had performed the religious leaders and government leaders rejected Jesus. So if the people did not condemn what their Leaders were doing then they are guilty of that sin as well. That's why the scriptures say get out of her before you share in her destruction. She is the killer of the prophets!!! I personally myself hold the Jews in high regard, if it wasn't for them I would not have known Jehovah or Jesus. But still the New Jerusalem is made up of Jews and Gentiles 144,000 of them.

As far as the tribes are concerned those historical records were lost when Israel was conquered by the Romans. But the tribes referred to in the bible are Jews and Gentiles who display the characteristics of those tribes. That's what I believe. But I respect your opinion and thoughts.

Yeah, they were commanded to gather the lost sheep of Israel, but the entire nation rejected Jesus as the messiah. Remember when Jesus spoke to the samaritan woman and explained to her that Jehovah is looking for those who will worship him with spirit and truth. He stated that neither in Jerusalem nor on that mountain will true followers practice true worship. So Jehovah is looking for spiritual Jews to offer sacrifices of praise, not just physical Jews. They all have to conform to the christian way of life. Also those of the anointed fold are virgin's, not literal virgin's, but spiritual virgin's. The anointed is comprised of men and woman. It does not matter what they are now because when they are transformed into their new spirit bodies their will be no such thing as male and female. They will all be spirit beings just like their a master Jesus Christ.

By who's conclusion? We know it can't be the literal Israelite Nation because they rejected Jesus and killed him. A lot of the Jews became christians and followed Jesus and his Apostles. But the Nation as a whole rejected him. Jesus basically sumed it up in regards to who are these chosen ones when he told the story in Mathew 22:1-14. That story clears up everything.

When Jesus was a child he was perfect without sin, but he wasn't King. The angels were joyful because they knew that Jesus was the answer to mankinds problems. John also knew that Jesus was the solution, he did not want to baptize him at first. But it was done as commanded. To fulfill scripture. Jesus did not become anointed until after he was baptized with water.

I feel that those called by Jehovah or Jesus are of the 144,000. Jesus said that many are invited, but only few are chosen. Also he made mention in his story that those who are not dressed in proper wedding attire will be cast out into the darkness. So if you were not truly called by Jehovah or Jesus you are not of this fold. So you can partake of these emblems, but that does not mean you are truly invited.

To the brothers outright telling people they are not anointed, they are going to answer to God for that. For the brothers out there who sincerely respect peoples decisions to partake and not judge, I got nothing but love for you.

I feel that those called to this fold are literally called by Jehovah or Jesus. I also believe the calling they recieve is their token of what's to come. They can truly say within their hearts that they are of the 144000. The Apostles were sanctified in Heaven by Jesus, he charged them to cast out spirits and perform healing by means of Jehovahs spirit. To my understanding no prophet before them was able to do the things they were doing. So Jesus had already arranged for them to be with him in Heaven.

Unbabtized, do you really believe that out of all the people in the world Jehaovah could only find a handful of Americans to do his work worldwide? The governing body have been mainly old American men since the beginning of the WBTS. Why is it that all the books and mags published are written by the writing commitee and not by the annointed ones around the world? Hello Mrs. Smith, Yes I believe it. When Jehovah created humans he did not fill the entire planet with humans, he only created two and they multiplied. When he created the Nation of Israel, he only needed Abram and Sarai. They became a mighty nation that exits to this day! Unlike mankind, Jehovah only needs a handful to get his point across.

So Doodlebear why aren't you doing so then? I'm not on trial here, I'm not God. This is an informative site and people voice their opinions on this site. Whether they are good or bad! But I see that if someone does not agree with your every word, this makes them scapegoats for your personal attacks. I think you need to get over it.

Well Jesus was young and he was teaching in the temple. They also did not believe he was the anointed of Jehovah. Believe me my friend if they did a follower of Jehovah like that they will reap the consequences of their actions. No one reserves the right to do that to anyone. The bottom line is all those who truly belong to God and Jesus will be persecuted by their own people. That story does not surprise me at all.

Also to the other commentor, I go where I wanna go!!! As you can see I'm not a fool! I look at things from both sides of the coin before I make any decision. Sorry I wasn't like you!!

Also I refuse to label anyone anything whether within the organization or outside the organization with another religion. It's God's responsibility to judge men, not my mine!

As far as Jesus was concerned he told his followers and his enemies that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand! John also told his followers that the Kingdom of the Heavens is near. To Jesus and John they saw everything in fulfillment before it was completed. Jesus knew that he would not fail in his mission. He also knew his followers and who he will choose to rule with him in Heaven. The Apostles he chose are the foundation stones of New Jerusalem and Jesus is the cornerstone. Jesus had charged his Apostles with authority to cast out demons and heal people. If they were not anointed by God to work his purpose they wouldn't have been able to do those things. There doesn't have to be a rushing stiff breeze every time Jehovah anoints one of his followers for a special mission. So trying to use that as an arguement is worthless. In Ancient Israel the High Priest and the under priest were able to partake of some of the special sacrifices that were presented to Jehovah in worship. Now to my understanding the ordinary citizens of Israel could not partake of the special sacrifice's made by smoke to Jehovah. It would be a violation of the Law. Another example, Korah wanted to seize the priesthood for himself without Jehovah's approval. He died and all who followed him died. So why partake of the emblems if you are not of this fold. Why not be happy for those who partake of the emblems, Jehovah chose them and we should be happy and content with his decision. We should show appreciation for just being alive to witness it happen. I don't care what religious belief you have you should always be happy for those who chosen to do Godly things for mankind.
