Well, when Pharaoh of Egypt killed all the little first born males of Israel they did not have compassion. When the Amalekites, Amorites and Philistines kill without any compassion who blames them. When a religious belief can make a person attach a bomb to his body and kill thousands of people. I don't blame Jehovah for taking those steps. By destroying the wicked and their offspring he was able to establish Israel as a nation so he could produce the messiah. If all of those other nations were left alone to grow they would have filled the entire land with their pagan worship.

IS THERE ANY JUSTIFCATION THAT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE KILLED BABIESÂ….??
by Mr. Majestic in.
assuming the bible true:.
thinking of the story of the way that jehovah, through samuel and saul, dealt with the amalekites; with the discovery of the criminal gene, could this justify the god of the bibles actions against these nations, when he put out the order to not have compassion for them, and the israelites were ordered to put to death, man as well as woman, child as well as suckling...??

GOVERNING BODY- JEHOVAH'S ANOINTED?
by believingxjw ineach member of the governing body claims to be of the anointed.
this claim of anointing along with the appointment to a virtual apostleship position in the organization gives them the power to rule over jehovah's witnesses.
they control every aspect of worship, nothing is outside of their control even the shunning of family members is within their ability to allow or disallow along with all other matters jw.

How would you respond to a Witness calling worldly people "wicked?"
by BonaFide inthis morning in the field ministry a brother in our car group was talking about wicked people.
i asked him what he thinks of when he says "wicked people.
" (i am working undercover) he said, "those that don't worship jehovah.".

I find it despicable for anyone on any level of faith to call some one wicked. The bible clearly says "Judge not or you shall be judged." As a matter of fact we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Some people are so self righteous that they say anything out of their mouths. Now they need to be disfellowshipped or counseled for making those comments.

Hello Parakeet & Cameo-d,
No I'm not pulling Cameo-d's leg or anything. I had this dream a while back and I never told anyone except people that were close to me. Me and Cameo-d have disagreed on certain issues in the past. I would not post something that I feel would cause trouble. However the dream truly happened and I wanted to get some insight from other members of this forum. One weird thing about the dream was seeing the enormous white tree in the yard. I've never ever seen a white tree in my life.
I've discussed this with my mom who has never been apart of the Watchtower society and she could not help me at all. I've spoke with a few other family members who are no part of the WTS. As a matter of fact I do not have any family members who are involved with the WTS. They could not help me with this interpretation.

I had a dream that was weird. It started off with me conversing with a well dressed older man and a strange woman who appeared to be mad at me. The woman stood at the rightside of the table and she had an attitude. When I began inquiring about their meeting the woman starting yelling "Why are you in my business". The older gentleman told me to follow him to the backyard. When I stepped into the yard it appeared to be a wide and spacious area. The air around me was filled with worker honey bees, I mean there were bees everywhere buzzing in my ear but they did not pay me any attention. By the way I would like to mention, I'm terrified of bees! The bees were going back and forth in the air. When I looked up to see where the bees were going I saw an enormous pearl white tree. It was the largest tree I have ever seen. It was white and unique. When I put my face against the tree I could hear the bees inside. Honey started oozing down the sides of the tree. I then said to myself that whoever owns this property is super wealthy due to the amount of honey that was being produced. After that I heard a voice call my name. When I turned around it was the same woman who told me to mine my business. She was standing behind three tall crates of honey. She stuck her hand in the top crate and pulled out her hand which was literally covered in this lite golden brown honey. She then said to me "****** come eat this honey, it is the best you've ever tasted." Once I saw the honey on her hand, I began to run towards her, then suddenly I woke up and my pillow was covered with saliva. My mine was boggled.
Tell me what you think about this dream?

I'm sure glad to see my fellow forum participants are still alert and alive. It appears though people aren't recognizing the signs. Each denomination has a copy of the Holy Bible and the prophecies state the same thing. So it doesn't matter what your christian belief is your still going to see the same signs as everyone else. If you read your bible.

The signs are becoming more and more clear. Violent crimes are increasing and lawlessness is the thing of the day. People are starting to lose their minds due to the increasing job loss and economic hardship. The eco system is failing and confusion amongst the world leaders or should I say "moon and stars" is becoming more apparent everyday. I wonder if anyone else notices the signs.

If it's really "so close to the end"....
by cameo-d inwill they ever announce that the world wide preaching work is finished?.

I'm not a brainless zombie as you would like to think homorovah. I'm just stating facts. I don't judge any man or any organization. That's not my way.
Ancient Israel made incorrect predictions due to the distressful issues they were experiencing at that time. I'm pretty sure there were a lot of messiah's popping up everywhere before, during and after Jesus death. They were so in anticipation of the coming of the messiah that they followed impostors and made incorrect announcements. Jehovah hid those things from the masses and only a small few actually knew that Jesus was the actual messiah. So with the organization making claims and over stepping there bounds on things that only Jehovah can declare is nothing new to me. However, though Israel made a lot of mistakes they were still Jehovah's chosen people until they denied and executed the Christ.
So in conclusion I feel that the organization needs to clean up some things but I still feel that Jehovah is with his people. -

Hello asilentone, to answer your question "I am a believer". However, I am not blind follower to anyone. The Holy scriptures don't lie, but most people do. Just like ancient Israel some of my brothers do act in that fashion. Determining who will die or who is worthy of everlasting life. Only Jehovah & Jesus have that say or judgment. I do not fear any man because truth is something not hidden but expressed publicly. Just like Ancient Israel the religious leaders became to self righteous and started abusing the people even the sick and down trodden. I've even heard statements made during meetings that if those who haven't made up their minds will be destroyed, However some have forgotten that after the thousand years Satan will be let loose and a uncountable number of those who made it through Armageddon will be destroyed. So basically there's no need to brag or boast or judge because no one actually knows his or her future. But I have received information that the tribulation is upon us and soon will be manifesting itself as time goes on. My thing is people can agree or disagree it does not matter to me. Live and let die!!!!!!
