I am friggen huge, (trying a new style diet)

whether this is going to work out or flop, i am not sure.

the goal however is to make my eating habits public in an attempt to prevent myself from straying off my diet.

i have not always been overweight but currently i am friggen huge.

Hey Jelly, glad to hear you'd like to get healthy. My husband to weighed in at 300 lbs a couple of years ago. It was a News Year resolution to lose weight that year. So we first put him on the cabbage soup diet for a week. He lost 17 pounds that week. Well that was jumpstart to his weight loss. From that week on I started cooking low fat, cut out a lot of the oil and butter, chicken wings every second weekend. Because he had started to lose weight he had more energy to exercise. He would go on the treadmill every day. Start to do light weight lifting. On the first Tuesday of every month he would weigh in. Every month there was a good 8 to 10 pound weight loss by Christmas of that year he had lost 130 pounds. He looked awsome, and felt great.

And he still looks great. He is a lot more fun to be with because he's more active. We bike and hike and have a great.... time.. He kept a diary of what he ate and his weight loss progress and he still has that diary.

Question on suicide

to cut a long story short, i know a married couple who had seperated for whatever reason and they were both witnesses.

even though he wasnt a regular goer at this time....the guy must have had several meetings with the elders and this particular day he was suppose to have a comittee meeting with 2 elders....they went around to see him and he had comitted suicide......he was also on prozac and apparently he had stopped taking them...at his funeral his brother said that he was mentally, emotionally and spiritualy ill. and i nearly forgot, they didnt even mention his passing away at the kingdom hall...............what is the witnesses view on suicide..last i knew, if you comitt suicide you dont get a ressurection.

We actually went to a funeral of a brother (who was an elder, in charge of the financial ends of the KH) who committed suicide. It had to be at least two years ago. His funeral was conducted at the Kingdom Hall, with a full hall attendance. The brother who gave the memorial service implied that this brother was in a lot of pain, and also talked about the resurrection crap, the whole nine yards. The only reason we went was because my older daughter had grown up with his daughter. I was taken aback by the funeral arrangements and wondered what the dubs viewpoint on suicide was. It looked like suicide was ok if you were in a lot "pain".

FARTING IN THE KINGDOM HALL.

i was lead to beleive that cleanlinness was next to godliness,that jehovah is a clean god, .

as we as a family sat down behind ( being the operative word ) a couple of elderly sisters ,arriving late we took the only seats available,even then we caused disruption as we even i were fighting over the seats as to where one would sit ,sure enough i allways seemed to end up in the firing line of these elderly fat arsed sisters,whom allways ended up farting in your face,the smell was so strong that you could actualy taste the stench it in the air 10 minutes later,i allways felt sick ,my children grinning .

I don't remember anyone farting in our hall. But there was a brother that would pick his nose, roll it between his fingers and then flick it into the Air. We would never sit near him or in front of him as you never knew where those little goobers would fall. YUCK

It was awsomely done. But I could only see the pompous attitudes of the accused, and how it doesn't phase them at all, and I'm sure they never watched it, or allowed there submissive wifes to watch it, too much of a revolt. Hopefully some good will come of it. I can still see them sitting on their pedastal's. They always have an answer. Hopefully this will be the crumbling of the Great Watchtower.
