Hey Outlaw exactly the way we like them. Yum Yum
Hi Shutterbug, its a good old ukrainian recipe. You roll out the dough and cut into circles, you put a bit of the potato mixture on the dough circle, fold it over and pinche the edges shut. You boil them until they float to the top of the surface of water. Then you transfer them to a pan of fried onions and butter and saute them for a while. you serve them with sour cream on top. They truly are very yummy.
Something we'll have to introduce to you Americans at a good old Canadian Apostafest.

So what do us crazy Canucks do when it is too cold outside -32 degress celcius. -25 F. U.S. language.
We do indoor activities like making perogies. Today we have peeled 20 pounds of potatoes, shredded six pounds of cheddar cheese, and have made the dough out of 24 cups of flour, 6 containers of sour cream, etc.
Geez what the hell are we thinking we'll be pinching (and of course drinking alcoholic beverages to get through this) into the wee hours of the morning, but we'll have dozens and dozens of them. Naturally we're not doing this alone, another couple we've made friends with since we've left the borg are joining us in this perogy making spree.
My husband wants to go out and buy a Honky Bills perogy maker. I told him no way we'll do it the old fashioned way, the way my babas (grandmothers) would do it.

Please forgive me.....I didn't mean to

what i thought was a good idea....seemed to be a bad one.
innocently, i wanted to send each person here a valentine card.

(((((Tatiana)))))) I'm so sorry that what you thought to be a good thing turned out to backfire on you. I can tell you that I appreciated your valentine day card to me, I opened it up this morning at work, and I was quite surprised. You really made me feel welcome that I joined the board, you made me feel like a friend. It is too bad some people take your actions the wrong way.
I Hope you got my e-card. Have a great day, and yes I will get Kissed
CJ
P.S. I thought I'd add to this. Just blame this one on elsewhere, maybe he has bigger shoulders to handle the blame because you have an awfully big heart. My god, to send everyone an e-card what a big job.

My head wont stop hurting
by Sirona ini'm really suffering with incessant headaches.
why won't they stop?!.
it all started with this http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=33945&site=3.

Sorry to hear of your pain Sirona. Shera asked whethey you might have TMJ problems (Temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction). This is something that I have had for years. And the headaches along with the jaw pain, which radiates into my shoulders is unbearable sometime. But I do have a bite splint that alleviates the pressure on the jaw joints. I may be way of base as to your pain, but my doctor also at one time prescribed a mild sleep prescription to relax me while I sleep so I wouldn't clamp down on my teeth, as that effects your jaw joints.
I hope you feel better soon.

The most romantic act ever done for you?
by zenpunk inwell valentine's day is almost here...but the most romantic thing my husband ever did for me came a few days earlier - on my birthday.. this is the very first birthday i am openly celebrating since leaving so he took me to my favorite restaurant sat.
night.
as we were walking in, i said, "someday i would love a big birthday party with all my family" (sans jw parents of course).

Hmmmm. there are so many to mention. But here are a couple.
This goes way back when xjw_b12 and I were dating, after a day at work I went out to my car to drive home. I found a note on my steering wheel to look in the glove compartment. In there was a love note and my favourite perfume from him.
And there was one time we had gone to the waterfront in the evening to watch the freight ships in the harbour. (I know, freight ships, how beautiful are they, but in the water at night time with their lights on, is a beautiful sight, plus we have a beautiful backdrop, our Sleeping Giant peninsula across the lake) .Anyway back to the story ----- He pulled out a bottle of wine along with plastic wine glasses. That was so romantic. Needless to say we have done this many times since that, we have even done it in the recent years to reminisce the good times.

Emotional blackmail imminent
by dmouse ini've sent my scans of the march kingdom ministry to stephanus who hopefully will get them onto his website soon.. in the meantime i couldn't resist commenting on page 3 paragraph 5:.
i couldn't give a toss about the old farts in brooklyn but i hated hurting my believing wife when i left the religion.
they seem intent on perpetuating that pain for her with comments like these.

When I stick out my tongue...
by Vivamus inwell, i can't think of anything else left to do on the path of apostates.
the original piercing was 10 millimeters, and since that was a bit long now that my tongue has healed, today i went for a new one, and a new stud.
my jw mum went with me, and she even picked out the one i have now, a red-white-blue [just like our flag] ball that glows in the dark.

Yikes. is all I can say.
Be careful that you don't chip a tooth on that precious little ball. My daughter has one too, and she ended up chowing down on something and ended up chipping a tooth.
