  I've kept up to date with General Hospital since I was a teenager.

  But my number one choice is Young and the Restless.

  What is you (or somebodies) best blooper in the KH?

  for example: we had a 'faithfull' brother getting older and confused.

  when something did not really went as he liked it (didn't get the answer etc) he shouted very loudly 'god doom me in the hell!

  one time i had to do the closing prayer on the midweek meeting.

  The one blooper I caused is when my brother and I were horsing around in the hall, after the meeting and I gave him a shove and he went crashing through a wall.

  Needless to say my Dad had to fix it with a new sheet of drywall.

  How many of you are childfree by choice?

  by that, i mean you do not want to have children.. i have been told since birth it would not be safe for me to have children, so i never even considered it.

  i never went through a grieving period because the concept of having babies was not something i once had and lost.

  i always envisioned myself as a happy career woman.. i recently married and am still sure i don't want children.

  I love my kids, but I can definitely say I won't be dealing with the "empty nest syndrome". I can hardly wait for them to leave so I can come home to a clean house, things are where I left them, and then finding things that aren't suppose to be on the floor and when asked you always get the "it wasn't me", well then who was it, the Dogs!

  If I had known 25 years ago, what I know today, I would have done things a little differently, with respect to how many children I had and when.

  this is my first post and here's my story.. my father became a witness long ago and my mom remained a lutheran.

  our attendance was sporadic due to mom's opposition.

  they knew our mom was lutheran and that she kept us from attending many meetings.

  i have been a regular visitor to this forum for the past 2 years or so, finally i got the courage to register.. you guys are an inspiration , your stories and experiences have helped me to take a stand against this controlling org.. in short, i was raised from birth as a jw, parents are from the old school very much hard liners, the society is their god.

  is expected of you, get baptised as a teenager become a ms then elder.

  i always had my doubts about the society and its teachings but was.

  Your not alone in losing your family and being shunned. I also live that life, but life goes on after you leave the borg, and begin making new friends, I must say it is a better and happier life.

  I hope some day my family will see the light, but right now they have their heads so far up the watchtower's a$$ that they can't see and won't listen to anything I have to say.
