Actually, the Kool-Aid drinkers are the 9/11 conspiracy theorists. Everything is explained here.

Thorny Memorial Invite
by TD in.
i got mine saturday and the first thing that caught my eye was the crown of thorns.. does anybody remember when the jw's used to insist that the crown of thorns was intended to humiliate, but not inflict pain and that the catholic church had it all wrong when they showed the thorns piercing flesh?.
i guess times are changing.... .

They're trying to establish themselves as a Christian church because in reality, nobody knows that they claim to be Christian.

You know, Science did explain the rainbow!
by free2beme inrecently it was after a raining morning, the sun came out and the rainbow appeared.
my jehovah's witness father-in-law turns to me and says, "there is the symbol that jehovah will not flood the world again.
" i started laughing and responded, "no, that is just what myth explained it to be in the past.

Issues That Made You ANGRY While You Were A Jehovah's Witness
by minimus inwhen i look back, i think of some things that really angered me about the organization.
i was raised as a witness and i was taught from a very early age that "reaching out" was the most important things i could do in life.
i was to reach out for "privileges" and get baptized.

The fact that I had to defend the organization when it clearly didn't make any sense.

I have one of the Sansa MP3 players. Right now, I only have the 1 GB candybar style mp3 players, but I didn't buy it for the space it offered, but rather, it offered features you don't get on the IPod, which is an FM radio and an expandable card slot.
I am somewhat satisfied with my mp3 player (I wish it played video, but I'm upgrading soon anyway and giving this other one to my fiancee) but if I had the choice, I would buy one of the Sansa mp3 players with video, just because of the expandability factor.

Re: 100 years. We still have troops in Cuba and it's been almost or over 100 years since the Spanish-American war was over. Leaving a base is nothing new and this is just Democratic spin to get the horn rim glasses wearing coffee drinking pseudo-intellectuals that listen to NPR in a tizzy.
Re: "Bush' war". Didn't billy boy also bomb Iraq? Where were the protests? Oh, I get it now, only Republican politicians are bad.
Re: Smart bombs: Now you're showing your real ignorance about weaponry, and which is why I'm truly scared for this country if the left does win this year's elections. "Smart" bombs aren't really that "smart". Also, getting rid of a target is much different than pacifying an entire country. You need troops on the ground to pacify a country, you just bombs to rid a target. Pacifying a country takes occupation, setting up a new government and finally, leaving a base there in case trouble arrives again. Much like we did in the aforementioned Spanish-American war, World War 2, the Korean War, Gulf War 1 and the Kosovar War (Which was a war, and not a police action. Sorry Clintonistas, your golden boy got us involved in a war.)

No sex on the first date, LMAO. Any girl would probably see this and think "Oh my god, what a religious prude."

Radio programme tonight, trying to get witnesing banned in Aust.
by Lehaa inhaven't been around lately, but life is great.
rarely think about the witnesses these days and my mental health is getting better and better.
was listening to triple m (a radio station here) and the dj was doing a talk back segment about how annoying it is to have witnesses etc.

Banning a person from coming to your door uninvited should be legislated because you don't know if that person is a criminal or not. Few of these religions or organizations do background checks on their members.

My Fiancé Can No Longer Talk to Me Because She is Becoming a JW
by reekster ini've been with someone for over ten years.
sounds like a long time to be engaged, but we were perfectly happy with the arrangement, knowing that some of the circumstances in each of our lives needed to be worked out before we could marry.
one day she told me that she wanted to investigate the jws.

Do what everybody else does in a situation like this and fake a conversion. In a few years, show her your concerns and tell her why you feel the way you do. She'll listen to you more since you're the "Head of the household" (TM) rather than you just being a fiancee.
You don't have to do a frontal attack on her, just an infiltration.
