  Can somebody explain to me how banning gay marriage is "screwing the country up?"

  Allowing gay marriage would mean that gay people would have the right to sue any church that can't and won't allow them to be married in a church. The last time I checked, a church can say "No" to whomever they feel like saying "no" to, no matter what the government says about it. This would be a breach of the First Amendment.

  The last time I checked, the First Amendment is the most important law in our country.

  A civil union, however, held by court officials (Which Bush is for, BTW.) isn't a church-sanctioned marriage. Of course, the leftist echo chambers you call news sources gives a breif mention to that.

  do you know why the "reasoning" book was reprinted in 1989 after 4 years of published?

  because there were some problems with the editor of a greek-english lexicon, by liddell & scott.

  this morning on the radio, they had a little contest to see who could nail the worst band name on a list made by some ideot.

  i tried to get through, but i was wrong anyway.

  the #1 worst band name was the beatles?

  PUCKETT -- anyone who watched baseball's 1987 and 1991 World Series will remember this announcement:

  "Now batting third, the center fielder, Kirbyyyyyyyyyyyy Puckett !"

  Anybody watching the Hennepin County Court systems would have heard "Will the defendent, Kirby Puckett please stand up?"

  Another crappy band name would be Strawberry Alarm Clock. WTF were those guys smoking when they thought of that name?

  hey guys,.

  while i was at the meeting at the kingdom hall, (oh so fun!....

  ) the person giving the sunday talk was talking about paradise and how wonderful it will be.. while trying not to fall asleep it hit me... what happens when the earth fills up with people in paradise?

  One "brother" even mentioned the idea of populating Jupiter. He said that Jupiter has more than enough room to fit in a large group of people.

  Then I informed him about 2 things called gravity and frozen gasses.

  For those of you not familliar with astronomy, we simply can't terraform Jupiter because terraforming Jupiter would mean that you're going to have to raise the temprature of the planet's surface to where humanity can survive, which means you will melt away the surface of Jupiter, which is made up of frozen gasses.

  Also, living in small pods on Jupiter would mean that we're subjected to Jovian gravity, which is many times the force of earth's, which will in effect, crush us.

  I know I'm playing devils advocate, but this is the FLDS, a sect seen as "weird" even to the 2 established and mainstream LDS churches, the LDS and the Community of Christ (Formerly RLDS.)

  I wouldn't be judging all of Mormondom on this weird sect. It would be like judging all of Christianity on the JW's, the SDA and Christian Science.

  Sorry, I couldn't find a picture of some loser in a tye dye chip&pepper T-shirt

  That had to be the dumbest kid's TV show ever made. No wonder why NBC stopped running children's programming after that debacle.

  The other things I remember from back when I was a wee lad was Bubble Eeez Bubble Gum (That commercial still sticks in my head!) and does anybody remember when Froot Loops only came in 3 flavors?
