  Who here loves to garden?

  i love to flower garden, i have a really nice one in front of my house.. i have.

  holly hocks, primrose, lilacs, daisy's, oriental poppy's.

  i also have miniture roses along my sidewalk and i'm getting a peony tree very soon.

  Me me me I love to garden. I have a flower garden with magnolia trees 2 they are in full bloom right now, lilacs, roses in peach and red, rose of sharon tree, black eyed susans, daisies, bulbs hyacinths, grape hyacinths, purple iris, petunia baskets, mini herb garden with lavender, chamomile, thyme, sweet basil, lotsa zoysia grass. I have a small child she loves to garden with me and get her hands dirty. Eman beautiful garden

  What did you do to keep yourself amused at the KH?

  when i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].

  he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.

  i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

  As a young child I spent most of the time sleeping in the kingdom hall. Once the first song was over I knew it was time for my nap zzzzzzzzzzzz then I'd sleep some more passed the second hour/ song zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. 15 minutes before It was time to leave I'd wake up take a bathroom break, stretch out my feet, fuss with my bag, sing little, pray, get my coat, socialize, out the do or. To this day I can't hear kingdom hall melodies they put me in a sleepy trance.

  i once made a remark about the hidden books of the bible.

  it was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for facts ... and for others it was a revelation.

  some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized.

  Insight into Death ?

  this is not intended to be a morbid post but because of the nature of the topic i guess it is anyway!

  have you ever heard of a long time terminally ill person who could live a few years more yet seem to know that they were going to die in the next couple of days?

  my grandfather called my cousin into his room a few years ago and told her that his funeral was happening before his eyes, he could see it, he died that night.. anyway, back to the original ?, have you heard of similar things?

  I'm sorry to hear about your dad it must be really touch and go for you and your family at this time. My thought are with you.

  When my father died he didn't know I believe It was very sudden and unexpected he was young and death really came out of nowhere for him. My grandfather on the other hand died 2 months ago. He was 101 and definitly knew the day he was going to die it's almost as if he had planned it. He had his favorite meal & desert that day even requested it.

  I really don't know the answers but maybe some people are more aware than others about their mortality.

  You hit the bulls eye eyebrow2. May I also add L.Ron was a hollywood sci-fi screen writer as well as sf book author ala Gene Rodenberry<don't think I spelled his name right>star trek fame. Sorry scifi isn't my genre. Then went ahead and started his own religion.
