well i finally did it today, got to the dentist, they had to pull out 2 teeth and i'm in line for a "bridge" whatever that is...... my face feels sore, my head aches, and it feels like i got this huge crater in the back of my mouth......my dentist says its ok, i had too many teeth at the back anyway as my wisdom teeth have come through.
even still, i can't help but hate the dentist.
they always say the same thing..."pop yourself up on the chair" "this won't hurt" "you're gonna feel a bit of pressure here"..... and the classic "sit up and have a rinse now"....
Hi Scooby...I empathize with you completely. Had to have a couple of teeth pulled a year ago and made sure that I had a prescription for Vicodin clutched in my hot little hand before he got to give me the shot. I'm such a wuss. He has to give me a shot to do a teeth cleaning!

my husband went into the hospital tuesday night with heart arrythmia.
he was given a shock treatment which lowered the heart rate considerably.
he had catherization done today which showed no arterial blockage.
Hi Blondie; What a scary experience. I hope everything works out well for you and Irreverent. Is this a kind of arrythmia that a pacemaker would correct? My husband had to have one as he had arrythmia and a-fib as well. He is doing well and says that the pacemaker saved his life.

If there is an article of interest that I'm alerted to on the TV news; I just read it in my neighbors paper.
I agree that the paper is mainly full of advertising and very little else.
my daughter lives out in the country, about a mile down in the woods.
her poodle get's picked on by the wild life out there.
a hawk was after it a few months ago and now a wild turky is chasing it.
Judging from the looks they get, do other dogs think poodles are some strange, alien creatures???

You're right, be wise, I didn't dedicate myself to the WTS...its just that they claim to hold the franchise on Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy spook.

In my opinion, and this is strictly my opinion, I feel that God will exact revenge upon an organization that hijacked his name and pretended to speak in his stead. I don't want my name written in their book when He begins the destruction. Thats why I chose to send in a DA letter. It makes it very clear that I want no part of an organization that covers up child sexual abuse with lies that hurt the victims even more.
This is a satisfying solution to me. It may not be for everyone.

as i mentioned in other thread i have been df'd for about 9-10 yrs.
i was raised in the "truth" - although neither of my parents were never really stellar examples of good jw's.

i really can't stand going, especially today.
did you feel that the meetings were grating and extremely irritating, just before you stopped going altogether?
Cheers to you, joy2bfree! How on earth did you slip your reading material past the nosy elders? Would've loved to take a laptop but surely would have been censured for that.
Our meetings were dull and boring with no respite and no opportunity to sneak off to a video game arcade. The KH was in a residential area with nothing to escape to. No windows to look out of either.
