We DID NOT leave our children..they had all graduated from high school except for one, my youngest who was 14. He moved with us and is still "out",and doing very well, he graduates this year! But thanks for sharing, Care to e-mail me and let me know who you are, who your Mom is?

Hey folks, I am not afraid to devulge my name, I'm dfed so that gives the go ahead to say anyhting I want. Anyone "in" who reads this would have alot to answer to about even being on this site!! My name is Jan Pierce, my partner and I, Joanne Barr were associated with first the "East congregation" and then The "Plumtree"(when they split and changed names) in Springfield. We were both pioneers for 9 of the 20 years that we associated. We both have had parts on the District and Circuit assemblies from time to time. My partner and her then Ministerial Servant husband were in a drama once. Hey Neonmadman, What is your name? I went to pioneer school in Holyoke and met alot of folks from there. The Levinio's, Michael Piles, there was a family from there where the parents and all the kids were prominant, still are, but I can't for the life of me remember their names!! Hey Naru.....Im a lesbian too! I too feel if there is a god then he created me this way! If it's a sin then god sinned against himself when he made me. Maybe he was drunk! Maybe all of the people in the world that are considered different, by noraml standards( whatever they are) were created by god when he was drunk!!! That would explain a lot would'nt it? FP

Undisfellowshipped, I have to say that the religionism that you spout is just another version of what Jehovah's Witnesses spout with a little twist. You mention what one must do in order to get to heaven. So I imagine that anyone who doesn't meet your criteria would be exempt from heaven. You mentioned only TRUE christians are accepted by "god" (a lot of people believe that they are TRUE christians whether you think they meet the bill or not), does'nt it make you the intolerent one who makes such determinations, and don't say that they are "god's" standards not yours that must be met ... that's a crock. God lets me live and breath and do everything else I do all day, same as you, sin included. For you to judge anyone else as to whether they are TRUE christians or not is the same as JW's saying who is "worldly" and who is not. I totally agree with what Gitasatsangha posted, "a fanatic, is a fanatic, is a fanatic." FP

You're right Musky, the WTBS no longer teaches that the scriptures means a literal "generation" Since 1996 the concept has been changed from "the group of people of knowing age in 1914" ( who would now be 102!!) to "any group of comtemporary people". Yes the light has gotten brighter!! What a crock!! Soooo glad to be out of the mire and able to figure it out for myself......there is no New System, it has always been the virtual carrot that had been dangled before our eyes. It's such a weird concept too, like who would actually make it there? You know the scare tactic scripture "PROBABLY you will be saved" Then what about all your worldly loved ones who got destroyed, we just forget about them? How was that supposed to work? Then I saw a thread posted lately about the idea of not being able to marry in the New System. That had a lot of people freaked out! Yet they continued to follow along, just like I did always silently questioning but never having the balls to say it out loud......maybe I would have been gone sooner!! Oh well, better out now than never!!! FP

I too am of the vomit lapping class, and proud of it! What ever could I have been thinking??!! I robbed myself and and my children of a true appreciation of the arts, of social and political awareness, of love, and how good it feels to love and be loved. We each deserve to be loved and cherished by our parents, by our brothers, by our sisters, by our children, and their children. Damn it, by any living thing that happens to know us and see that we are good people. We do read and watch "satan" inspired literature and performing arts however. Does it mean that I am a bad person or does it mean that I am more open to differences that may be just of opinion, or culture, or are inherent and natural. You are allowed to beleive what you believe, I can believe what I believe. I wont try to convert you if you won't try to convert me. We will just get together occassionally and show our love to each other and then go back to our individual lives. Not sure where I am going with this, I guess I just used a lot of words to say, it's alright to be of the vomit lapping class, I know my "truth"! FlowerP There should never be a time in your life where you should be at odds with your loved one when there is at least one of you willing to listen and hear.
