I made a huge mistake

next saturday is our anniversary.

With the exception of his going back to the cult I am happy with my marrage. Some people were raised to be submissive. Could it be that I was? I wasn't. I was raised that the head of house has the final vote. I don't have a problem being submissive in our relationship. The bible says the man is dominate and the female is submissive. I take my marrage vows seriously and knew I was marring a cheater. Don't put me down because of the way I was raised. What I believe. Or the fact that I married a man who takes more than he gives. I know I am a giver and he's a taker. As I said before I love my husband. For better or worse.

Since his 2nd wife lied to him over money I understand where he's comming from. I hope one day he will no longer compare me to her where money is concerned. As far as him trusting me I haven't given him any reason to misturst me. He has all my passwords for all my accounts. I have none of his passwords. Sometimes I wish I had them but it dosen't matter if I do.My journal is left out for him to read if he wishes. I have never cheated on him but he has had a cyber affair of which I forgave. He has cheated on his 1st wife with the one who would be his 2nd wife. He cheated on the 2nd wife. He cheated on the woman he was seeing before me with me. I know he is a cheater. You don't have to tell me that he may be cheating on me now with someone who may become his 4th wife. I don't think he's currently cheating on me now. If he was and wanted my forgiveness I would give it. I love this man. Always have. Always will. All I want is for him to be happy and if I no longer make him happy then I would let him go. No messy divorce. I'll leave with only what I brought. So his inability to trust me is something he will have to work out. When he feels he can trust me then he can give me a credit card with my name on it to use as I wish.

I returned the cross, chain and watch after church. I had then credit my credit card back. Then I re-purchased the watch with cash I had and came home and told hubby what I did. He then said I didn't have to do that. He admitted in a round about way that he thought I had lied to him about what I had bought. After he left for the kingdummy hall for his meeting I cut my card up and put the orginal recept, the credit recept, and my cut up card on his desk. Durring his meeting he sent a text apologising for his paranoia. Its all good I replied I know where you're comming from. When he got home we watched tv.
I know he's in a cult that no one can trust anyone. Spouses can't trust each other. Siblings can't trust their parents and no one can trust anyone in the congration. You never know who will report something to the elders. Its their doctrine practice of lying. So now I pay the price.

Update..... We celebrate 7 years on the 5th of October. we haven't celebrated our anniversary yet. Yes I purchased both gifts with his money as I do not work for tax reasons. When we married hubby was very inactive and showed no signs of returning when we said I do. I have come to my own reasons as to why he returned all of which are selfish. Since he is so well practiced in lying for theocratic warfare I belive I figured out why he returned. Anyway there was never a problem of how I spent "our" money before he returned to the cult. After almost divorcing 6 months ago and explaining to my hubby that this is all I have to look foward to celebrate with him now since we no longer have any holidays to celebrate. Yes to keep the peace I don't celebrate any holidays anymore. In the past we have always celebrated our anniversary. He is not and has never been a gift giver. I am. Since I no longer get any gifts durring the year when you would normally recieve a gift I thought that this year I would start exchanging gifts. Thats why I purchased my cross for myself. Hopping that next year he would buy a gift for me and I for him. I wanted to start something new. My bad.

Its been a tough 6 months for my jw hubby and myself. Next Saturday is our anniversary. I wasn't sure we would make it with the turbulance of the last 6 months. I wanted to make this one special. I planned on making a nice romantic dinner. Shrimp Scampi. I special ordered a Plumeria flower arrangement. His favorite flower. I searched for the perfect card and found it. I found his favorite hazelnut chocolate candy and bought them. I saved for months to pay for the dress watch I got him. Arranged for him to be gone long enough for me to get everything ready. Sounds great right? I had hoped so. The mistake comes in to play when hubby found out I bought a gold cross and chain for myself. Since all this was to be a suprise and he has never gotten me anything for our anniversary I took it upon myself to get a gift for me. The mistake is not getting a gift for myself it was what I got. A cross. He's jw. I am not. I'm taking the cross and chain back.

Under The Dome
by KariOtt inafter watching the first 2 epsoides and looking foward to the rest i was thinking that a dome needs to be put over every kingdom hall on sunday morrning.
that way we could be rid of a large chunk of them and those who missed the meeting could see that its a false church.
