got caught at the supermarket (in between the martini olives and snack crackers ) with several bottles of hard liquor in my basket along with some red licorice by a sister that has known me for years.

still respects me, not knowing that i am in full fade mode, or at least not recognizably knowing.

anyway, when she sees me, her eyes get all big and she heads in my direction, nearly ramming my liquor laden cart with her vegan oriented basket.. "hey sop, how are you doing?

Talk out loud in public places...new preaching method? And go bags..

i have been told of two things i had not heard of before.. one is a new preaching method, going to public places in a group e.g.

a cafe, and then talking of the topic quite loudly, for example maybe studying a watchtower or a chapter in a publication.

the idea being that people listen in and enquire etc etc.

Hmmm, I preached on buses here in the US and it does not sound like what the OP is talking about. We'd go on the bus when the weather was awful, and wait til someone sat next to us. Then we would preachto that person. Pioneers in the city often did this to get ttheir time in. For the blazing hot summers and freezing cold winters when street witnessing was just not physically possible, preachng on public transportation was the way to go.

As far as the GT bags, noone billed it as such from theplatform.There was lots of talk about natural ddisasters andsuch being the rreason why we needed to gave such items ready. Howeverthe ddiscussion amongst' friends' was different. They were GT bags.

i needed room when i moved so i sadly threw my entire library away.

i mentioned this to an exjw.

he and his wife took all the hundreds of books, including bound volumes from the 1800s and are now using them for research and proof of watchtower lies.. what did you do with your books?.

Rcycling bin once i learned TTATT.i kept my notebooks from all the years of attending the meetings. I have some diary entries in there, lol

Could rebaptism present a loophole for exiting without being shunned?

this is how i imagine it can work: the baptized jw first gets the elders to acknowledge in written form that his previous baptism was in fact null and void.

* then later, coming close to baptism - preferably, the day of rebaptism - he changes his mind about being rebaptized (maybe he says no or remains silent when the questions are being asked, with this being video recorded).

so legally, he never was a legitimately baptized jw and therefore should not be anounced as "bro.

This would not work. Elders in no way or form will be legalistic towards your advantage. Legalism in the org/corp/society only benefits the elite. The rank and file are NOT the elite.

Will there be a new revelation book?

since the entire book of revelation was pretty much fulfilled by rutherford giving a few talks at some district conventions and the release of what would now be considered apostate teachings and 'old light', and now that jesus return, the appointing of the faithful slave, etc, is all a future event, i think they will have to soon order all kingdomhalls to trash their revelation books.

i'd bet if the wt even lasts that long, a new revelation book within the next 5 years.

Whatever they print thats new is just TRASH TRASH TRASH. Just don't throw it in the trash-- put it in the recycling bin so that it can be used for a good purpose in its second life.

it was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.

in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.

i could not work out who were the jws attending them.

I have seen these in my neighborhood, but with JWs I know nearby. That pic you posted-- those jdubs were cheatng!

I do find itoffensive that there is a cart facng the band the entire tme they were playing! I'd sure be upset to constantly have to look at that while playing a number. Sheesh!
