i created a gravatar account, added the email address i use on here and uploaded the an image, but nothing happens.
this was 3 days ago.. could you please solve this problem?.

Did you ever actually believe the JW fantasy version of "Paradise"?
by Darth Fader The Sequel ini am sure this topic has probably been discussed many times before but,......... i would like reassurance that i am not the only one who gagged every time i heard a jw pontificating on their fantasy version of what "paradise" will be like.
particularly when it comes to the animals.
more specifically, that the animals will all become vegetarians.

I believed in paradise, but my vision of paradise changed over time. That Jehovah would satisfy the desire of all beings provided me with enough leeway to envision a paradise that would please me. I know I could never be bored with eternal life on Earth-- just too much to learn, too many places to go, too many thngs to do! Ididn't care for the animals so much-- i did like giraffes and thought it'd b great to have one as a pet. To be with my family forever, especially my daughters and grandmother, to meet famous historical figures (forget Bible characters! I mean the REAL DEAL like Harriet Tubman or FDR or Lincoln! ) and possibly become their friends, to meet my ancestors and see where my blood line comes from-- that was Paradise to me! WTBTS was boring according to me. If someone enjoyed that version then they could have it. I knew what Jehovah was going to give me :-)

Silence after stating my confusion about "144,000"
by tidalblitz inthe other night, i was told about a question that a friend's bible study had asked them.
the bible study asked: "if jesus is perfect, why does he need the 144,000 to help him rule?
" this friend does not know how to answer this question.

Witnesses look at the glass half empty instead of half full. Even though I am going through much right now, I know that the world is full of good people who do good things, like look after their neighbor, take care of their friends, and show loyalty and offer support to their family. Some take further action to help others on a local, regional, national and international level. I could not understand nor adopt the Witness mentality of being so utterly pessimistic about the world we live in. My goodness-- no wonder so many suffer from depression while in! If I am a good person, it is because I want to be and act on it. Geezzzz I don't need a reward in Paradise to be kind, loving, compassionate, considerate, and merciful. Smh

Rebel8-- When CPR was performed, you mean? It doesn't look like anything was performed on the guy. This footage is not making the rounds in the news here. I don't know what the time stamp was. I wish I knew more. I'm sure more info will come out.

Thank goodness that he came over to you afterwards- - what a positive experience, and as an ex jw Jordan really does need to move on from all of the lies and manipulation of the Society. It's very hard to do without knowledge. How wonderful that you've put him on that path. Hopefully he will stay on it.
I was going to say that young jws today dobelieve that the Society does not discourage attending college, that it's just a warning. Tis all. Craziness , really. I was about to explode wheni heard that from a friend still in the cult. But i ddon't have time to waste so I didn't.
