God, independent science has found no problems with HMOs, only quack science, all of which has been debunked.
Independent researchers from at least 3 US universities have studied and are studying GMOs in depth and have found no problems with them. You might want to read the Forbes article or review the U of GA website.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions; not everyone is entitled to the facts. What you or I think about GMOs is irrelevant. They are here to stay and in their infancy as a technology.
My ex-GF's father, a right wind fundie jesus lover, used to blurt out similar lies as certitudes and platitudes. Since I wanted to keep the peace, I gave him a lot of latitude to be his bullying self. But I told my ex GF that it has a shelf life; I wasn't going to sit and listen to his bullying bullshit forever.
I have no such constraints on this site. When they make erroneous, dangerous bullying statements, they get what they deserve.
All of the conspiracy theorists, if they were standing on one another's shoulders, wouldn't reach the shoe laces of the giants whose work they dismiss and condemn. Those they condemn have spent decades in advance education and experience doing their best at what they do. Those criticizing them do so with nothing other than their feelings and Rush Limbaugh telling them what to think.

there is a visitor brother in town and from what ive been told, he has been a missionary for many years and they were having a get together for him.
i took my mom to that get-together yesterday and stayed for a few minutes.
i heard a group around a table with the visitor brother talking about how hard it was getting in the world with so many distractions and that many of the brothers were falling into the trap and leaving jehovahs organization.

Once again you are correct. Or any conspiracy theorist, really. But my objectives are noble. I would prefer that the furry little varmints become empiricists. Short of that happening, getting them to STFU is a close second. Either way is ok with me, as long as we stop their infection from spreading. This site is fu:*ing full of conspiracy theorists. That shouldn't surprise me, as researchers have pointed out a strong correlation between fundie theism and theorism.. They left one cult for another one.
Sadly, Devo was right. We are de-evolving. Nothing says herd mentality quite like the conspiracy theorist mentality. They are a pox on humanity. A disease. An infection. De-evolution in real time. There is a lot of very bad science regarding GMOs. I have read a lot of it, and it has ALL been trashed and exposed by real scientists. The Universities of CA, GA and FLA have been conducting extensive research into GMOs for several years. The U of GA has a website that identifies all of the bad science to which you refer. Excellent comment. I agree. That's why there is an intensive governmental approval process before GMOs can come to market and one of the reasons why there are numerous independent studies that have been and are being conducted by prestigious universities.

Some countries ban GMOs as a political reactionary move or one taken to protect existing agricultural industries - these bans are not based on whether GMOs produced by Monsanto or other US companies are dangerous. They are not.
Many countries are moving forward with GMOs; whether they all have the appropriate policies and tests in place is something neither you nor I know, and it would certainly be prudent to ensure they do. GMOs from Monsanto have been proven safe and as nutritious as regular foods, based on real science. Your rant that Monsanto, those bastards, are trying to kill us was a hysterical, dangerous and erroneous opinion.
