JW to be banned in Russia soon?

If the Dubs, Islam, Pussy Riot or any other entity wishes to operate in Mother Russia, they will play by Vlad's rules. The laws and regulations have been written so that they can broadly interpret anything they believe is counter to Russian objectives. The Dubs can stay in Russia, but they will have to leave behind all of what makes them unique. It will be interesting to see how the Dark Lords respond. They will likely flail about like victims for a while, but in the end if they want to operate in Russia they will have to get rid of all literature and all teachings that espouses the stuff I mentioned above. The Dark Lords will either comply or leave Russia, and that is most excellent.

And Vlad and his Impalers WILL be watching.

My $ is on the Impalers. And if ISIS or some other Islamic group gets their hands on a nuclear weapon or otherwise manages to inflict massive casualties in the W world, I fully expect Vlad-like laws and regulations to be imposed on all religions. That will be the game changer.

Of course, Vlad has built somewhat of a wall around the Russian Orthodox Church, which he views in part as a relic of Mother Russia and in part that it serves his needs for influence ($, social, political).

Russia isn't just targeting the Dubs. As we've discussed several times on this site, Vlad and his Impalers have been systematically developing national laws and regulations, especially since the events of 9/11, to address any group that doesn't fit with Vlad's view of what Mother Russia should embrace.

Some of it seems a bit reactionary and designed to control non-Russian external groups coming into Russia since the Cold War ended. Some of it is rational, as Vlad seeks to avoid contaminating influences by outside groups, whether they are religious or not, and including Islam and non-religious entities.

And some of it designed to control groups already within Russia, especially Islam, from what he and the Impalers view is a contaminating influence. Russia has begun to paint with a broad brush regarding issues of interest to the state and issues of interest to the individual and the group.

If Europe and other countries would begin embracing and implementing similar legislation, albeit a bit more tolerant and less purely nationalistic, it would very likely place needed controls on all religions, including the Dubs, Islam and anyone else causing potential harm to a nation/state.

Dfing, teaching that your religion is right and all others are wrong, honor killings, forced wearing of head scarves, jihads, fatwas, discouraging voting or engagement in political processes and teaching End of Time nonsense relative to all those not in 'your' religion, including the governments and political institutions, are going to soon be destroyed are included in Vlad's regulatory guidelines. That places the Dark Lords squarely in Vlad's sights. And that is a very good thing.

I see this as a good thing to reel in religion's vile influence, in the long run. In the short run???

i know the social justice warriors will scream i'm some sort of trump supporter for what i say even though i don't agree with his ideas and no i am not voting for him... i accept this is a go to for them.. i think we have fallen into a pc vacuum.. criticizing someones religion = racism!.

telling someone to not be so sensitive = misogyny!.

I've tried being a member of the Decorum Faction, but time after time I've failed. But I also don't fit into the Dauntless, Amity, Erudite, Abnegation, and Candor Factions.

As Tobias (Four) said in Divergent. "I think we've made a mistake. We've all started to put down the virtues of the other factions in the process of bolstering our own. I don't want to do that. I want to be brave, and selfless, and smart, and kind, and honest. I continually struggle with kindness."

I'm all for decorum. Except when I'm not. But the Nattering Nannies of Niceties won't have it any other way it seems. They can't get their way by using the "Dislike" button, because some of us don't care and some of us are trying to get their reaction with as many "Dislikes" as possible. So they rat us out to Simon, who occasionally has used a well placed and perfect for the occasion F word himself. Though it isn't often.

It's like SSC said in the weight loss OP that probably contributed to this yet another calling out by our wonderful site master Simon. And when I say contributed, I mean me. My knuckles have been rapped so often they are red. Adults don't change their bad habits or their minds unless they are publicly ridiculed, similar to banning smoking in public and treating smokers as pariahs, or they are financially or otherwise penalized. It's kind of like weight training.

No pain. No gain.

And as Cofty says, for all you Hovering Hens of Hysteria, four steps over and five steps down is the Dislike button.

Yeah sure. Let's leave it to the individual business to determine who they serve. That might seem rational. I suppose if every x-tian business refused to serve Muslims or women wearing head coverings methinks you might feel a bit differently. Or if the majority refused to serve black people. Should Muslims and Blacks then just go to the next county, city or state or fukking country to find a place that would cut their hair, serve them ice cream or taking their wedding pictures?

See any difference now? That is why we have the Constitution. The SCOTUS has never ruled in favor of a public for profit enterprise in its desire to discriminate in matters that deal with commerce and free trade. It's in the Constitution. Some of you evidently missed that in Civics class - or in paying attention the past decades.

There is a dividing line between church and state. The free flow of commerce is a compelling interest of the state; it is NO interest of religion. This isn't complicated; some of you just keep making it seem so.

The chimps and the haters lost. SCOTUS put a nail in it last June. But the haters keep hating, vainly passing law after law in Red state after Red state, all of which will ultimately be found un-constitutional by the SCOTUS, to legalize hate against the LGBT community.

In an interview with NBC News, McCrory, a Republican who is running for re-election, said he would not heed calls to repeal the law, which blocks the city of Charlotte — and any other local government — from allowing transgender people to use bathrooms that match the gender they identify with.

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee banned nonessential publicly funded travel to NC in a show of opposition to the law on Friday. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Seattle Mayor Ed Murray followed suit on Monday. The NFL, NBA and likely scores of other entities and corporations will also likely follow suit. We will see just how much brass are in NC governor's balls when he weighs political capital against capitalism as expressed in the 21st Century.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, but I just got off the phone speaking with Simon. He was thanking me for the ratings increase on the site and said to keep up the good work. In our conversation he was telling me that the ad revenue really soars when there is a lot of site activity, and it enables him to sell a more diverse ad mixture. It seems the most popular ads on the site now are the ads for Ukrainian and other 3rd world brides, so you mutants keep up the good work.

And Pbrow, did you finally buy you a real girl? Excellent! Now you can finally let the air out of your inflatable!!!! Yay!

At least I know which group you guys come from. Based on my exhaustive research of this site (not really, I'm just making this shit up as I go), there is a 78% chance that someone calling someone else an 'elder'' is a conspiracy theorist. For 2 1/2 years I have intentionally offended every brain dead, every hysteric and every delusional narcissist on this site. I deserve, no - I have earned - more than 12 Dislikes (see above). I guess I will just have to keep working harder.

This is the worst OP I can recall. All flash, intentionally designed for attention, without any substance. To this point the evidence strongly suggests said soon to be ex-Bethelite is a figment of Gilreath's imagination. Until such time that substance is provided, a lot of us - not just me - are unconvinced. All I've done is provide a public service to the forum, but public service typically is so under-appreciated. Perhaps it's because the announcements are often made at 3 a.m. on our tv and we miss them. But I know it is appreciated nonetheless.

So many of you are well intentioned but misguided (do you serve fries with that?). Gilreath, like a lot of other posters, has a serious victim complex, which I pointed out. All you placaters are doing is enabling him in his victimization, which is almost certainly hurting his life, career and relationships. The victim complex and attention he is seeking for it are likely motives behind the entire premise of the OP.

If Gilreath applies just this one thing from this OP, his life is likely to improve immeasurably. You are welcome Gilreath.

But I must protest. I'm not a dick. I'm an ass. If I was a dick, (is that sounding too gay?? not that there's anything wrong with that) I would say something in closing like: "Have your pets spayed and neutered." But I'm not a dick, so I won't say that.
