A farce elder here

just to share a little about me:.

i was recently appointed an elder, about 6 months ago now, and that is exactly two years after my awakenning, but funny that the appointment came also about 2 years after i had completely lost all faith in god and had been leading a full time anti-jw life .

makes you wonder the role of the holy spirit in the entire nomination or appointment process.. .

Welcome. I'm with the others; I couldn't fake it. It's a shame you can't be like the Star Trek episode where The Enterprise discovers a wrecked Borg scout ship with a single survivor: a young Borg drone.

La Forge and Data devised a method to use the captive Borg to destroy the Collective: a geometric formula that is unsolvable, which they plan to show to Hugh (they gave the Borg a name) for analysis. (The theory is that if Hugh views the formula and then returns to the collective, it will spread throughout every drone in the entire race and act like a computer virus - causing a catastrophic system failure, essentially wiping out the Borg species.)

Miami Has New Young Partakers

snapper creek (miami, fl) congregation, had 2 pioneers (female), partake at the memorial for the first time.

one is 20 years old, the other 23.. the gt delayed again!!

Rub - agree. Pistoff - delusonal in the sense of all things Borgian and knowing (one would assume since they are indicated to be pioneers) the 'rules.' Not delusional from an external non-Borgian perspective I would agree.

Since they are pioneers, it wouldn't seem that their partaking would be based on rebellious feelings toward the Borg, even given their ages. Pioneering is a royal pain in the ass, and anyone going that route wouldn't typically fit the rebel. I would lean with Witness on this one; they are likely very close to one another, probably emotionally immature and completely full of themselves with their 'spirituality'. A bit delusional. Kinda like the GB. But they seriously aren't playing by the rules. Good for them! I like these young women!!!

Authorities say the suspect – a man in his 70s who was not identified – was taken into custody outside the Valley Park elementary school. The FBI says it is assisting in the investigation. The suspect fired at people using a shotgun, Overland Park police said, and there is no indication that he knew his victims. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the shootings were a hate crime and said the suspect was not known to police until today.

Prologos, excellent point and exactly what I was thinking when I read this year old post. They are the wolves and those they seek to bring into a JC or mark or remove are the sheep who have been skinned and thrown about. They can cloak it the other way all they wish but it will not change the reaiity of what they are doing - which is following the Borg's leadership from the Death Star (ok I know I'm combining metahphors from two different sci-fi series, but it fits). I was an elder and by the time I was finished with the Borg, that is exactly how I viewed things. We were the wolves.

i have watched the movie divergent.. wow what an amazing film that highlights the value of not just conforming or accepting what is put in front of us!.

the parallels to "the truth" are amazing!.

Yes I saw it. Good movie, but it could have been better. You are right about categorizing people to further control them being a bit like the Borg.

Genesis account shaken!

but an experiment conducted at the south pole, two weeks back, has caught ripples in the oldest light in the universe.

The slightly annoying part of this is that Snow is a kinder gentler version of Rev. Tammy. The really annoying part of this is that she runs out of posts she posts so often. How many boring ass theist posts droning on and on about the same thing can one possibly post? Evidently a whole helluva lot. Adding nothing to any post other than the cyber Kingdom Hall post-Dub theist mantras, which apparently serves a huge purpose to most of the ex-Dubs on this site. And the really really annoying part of this is the cyber freaking Kingdom Hall this appears to be, where ex-JW and theist crap, I mean subjects, are discussed ad-nauseum. But the really, really, really annoying part of this is when they enter non-theist posts with the same mantras.

But this site is what it is. I'm the one with the problem it seems. I will stay with my 1.2 posts per day, trying to get the ex-Dubs to learn to think rationally and analytically, supporting gays and those who want to masturbate and welcoming new ones.
