Storms kinda sorta excite me. The only thing that really scares me is my ex wife's lawyer.

Labels, labels, labels. If we removed the labels (gay, straight, bi and all the connotations and cultural issues associated with those labels) and just called sex "fun" and then had this OP I wonder what the responses would be like. Sex is fun. Lots. I'm straight - mostly - ha! but if I were in prison for a long time (ok, for a day or two) I would own that place.
Seriously, let's do this again and respond without labels and without social constraints. Good OP FP! Thanks.

The Governing Body's Currant Money Grab From The Rank And File Will Only Get Worse And More Oppressive
by frankiespeakin inthe governing body are fighting for corporation survival here, and now and they are only going to get worse as the child molestation lawsuits must be paid out so expect more in real eastate sell offs and kingdom hall scemes to rip off the rank and file for every single penny they can get out of them praying on their extreme gulibilty to the limits another words to the breaking point.. this type of double dealing with the hard earned contributions given to support the kingdom halls will very quickly back fire on them causeing more extreme measures to pay the plaintiffs in child molestation lawsuits.
it is a snow ball rolling down the hill..

Selling off assets, simplifying the org chart and other processes and procedures are typically things done by organizations in stress. However, the other side of this could be a long-term strategy based on the organizational design. Consider:
1. They have bred the poorest and least educated class/relgion in the US and likely everywhere else they exist. The new ones coming into the borg will likely look exactly like that, with few financial resources.
2. They have bled the best and brightest for years and likely see that continuing. With the Internet and the economic situation in Western and aflluent lands, this will likely continue into the future without any let up. They know that.
3. They appeal to the dysfunctional and the social misfits of the world where they will likely continue seeing increase. It is likely the only increase will come from these areas/populations for the foreseeable future.
So how do you pay for meeting places and the org. infrastructure necessary to serve these? I doubt very seriously that they are cashing out to help support these efforts. Even if they were those resources likely wouldn't stretch very far or last very long. The only way to gain cash flow to support their business design is to grab it from the existing cult members. Now look back at No. 1. Good luck with that.

Is College Worth It? Clearly, New Data Say...
by NewYork44M ina new set of income statistics answers those questions quite clearly: yes, college is worth it, and its not even close.
for all the struggles that many young college graduates face, a four-year degree has probably never been more valuable.. here is the article from the new york times:.

NY,
It's as I said, too many uneducated and under-educated don't know how to analyze data. An anecdote or personal experience, though not without merit, hasn't much to do in many cases with facts. The Dubs haven't been trained to think, so they aren't very good at it.

"Honour" Killing in Pakistan
by cofty in25 year old farzana iqbal was stoned to death by a crowd led by her own father and two of her brothers outside the high court in lahore yesterday.. her crime was to reject her cousin, who her family had decided she should marry, and fall in love with a man of her own choosing.. thousands of women are murdered every year in so-called "honour killings" but convictions are very rare.
pakistani law permits victim's families to forgive a murderer, but in these cases the killers are family members who are nominated to carry out the execution by the rest of the family.. this is what happens when you allow a mysogynistic religion to influence secular law.. reuters report...l.

Honor killings have occurred in the U.S. as well. They have typically been Pakistanis or other Islamic extremists. Marriages are also typically arranged in India; however, the Hindu belief system is in large part based on tolerance, so honor killlings are unlikely. Thier cousins to the East, however? That's a different matter. Islam is known for intolerance.
