Ok lazy brained, the empirical data:
The numbers of 25 - 34 year olds living with their parents is at a record high in the US. See the chart below for historical data. It's not just the dubs, and yes it is a generational shift.
From 2016: Pew researchers noted that a challenging job market, particularly for young men, is a major factor driving the trend. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 5.7 percent of men ages 25 to 34 are unemployed, a full percentage point lower than older men. Analysis of census data shows that 36 percent of older millennials without jobs live with their parents, compared with 18 percent of employed men. is also a big part of the story. Analysis shows that just 15 percent of older millennial men with a college degree live with their parents, compared to 26 percent with only a high school degree.
Poor job prospects may be making young men less desirable for marriage, since most women look for men with a steady job. But older millennial women are also living at home in bigger numbers. Overall, a $17,000 earnings gap between college educated and high school educated adults age 25 to 32.
This also explains why the under-educated males like Trump so much. He appeals to their failures; it's not their fault. It's the Chinese and Mexican trade policies. It's the immigrants. When the real reason they are being left behind is because the economy has changed to the point of rewarding ambition, education and entrepreneurial aptitudes and not rewarding those lacking ambition and education. Trump promising to bring back blue collar jobs is in direct response to those who feel entitled and are too lazy to do anything but whine about it.
This also ties in directly with the recent OP regarding where our collective DNA will be in a few thousand years. What humans view as the 'fittest' DNA is changing, and those who do not meet the new normal will be left behind and will be less likely to pass along their DNA.
That will be $1000. I don't work cheap. And you are welcome.

What will humans look like in 1000000 years?
by James Mixon inok, the bible is a fascinating book of fairy tales, so we move on..e. zolfagharifard, some guy states "humans will be very different creatures in just 1000 years from now due to climate change, artificial intelligence and genetic mutations are all set to transform our bodies in drastic ways.
a mixture of biology and machine on the inside.
this is only 1000 years from now, what the hell will humans look like in 100000 years????

One thing I should have stressed even more in my dissertation about what our DNA will look like in the future. For 100,000 years half the population has either had no choice regarding the DNA they would pass on or their choices were based on having the best chance on survival of themselves and their children. They are called females.
The bible and Islam are full of examples wherein the conquering marauders killed all the males and impregnated all the females. Boko Haran and ISIS are recent examples. And Genghis did his part as well. Which ensures that little Genghis and Muhammed and Jacob will be chips off the old block - violent males lacking self control who think that forced subjugation is A-OK.
But when the 'fittest' are violent males who make great warrior protectors and who think that forced subjugation is A-OK because that is the reality of the world in which they live, the process is working perfectly. We are changing what being the 'fittest' means, and that is the key to evolutionary improvement.
It was and still is common for young girls to be bartered or given to older, wealthier more powerful males.
When women are empowered and educated, when they have their own financial security and do not have to rely on an alpha male to protect them from the marauders, pillagers and rapists, they will be free to make much different decisions about mates.
That, IMHO, will have the single most powerful impact on our future DNA.
We are seeing it already in industrialized nations.

A Believer....... A naughty, naughty sheep....
by DATA-DOG in"a believer" seems to be our new apologist/disobedient sheep.
"a believer" ignores the "spirit-directed"/"bible-based" commands of the gb/fds!
shame on you, "a believer"!!!!

DD, Ditto.
But at least A Believer has the stones to own it. Unlike our other favorite dub stalker FormerBrother. I mean CurrentBrother.

As Dr. Phil says, the best predictor of the future is the past. Having said that, there are both positives and negatives associated with our evolution. Regardless of the technology, it's going to come down to natural selection and the types of males/females determined to be the fittest given the 2 possibilities listed below.
Positives (Evolve):
1. Intelligent people are ascending at the fastest pace in history. This isn't surprising, as we move farther away from the feeler/perceivers so common amongst our ancestors and when being a feeler/perceiver was an evolutionary advantage.
2. Along with intelligence, education is being rewarded at the fastest pace in history. Trump's primary supporters were from groups with little education post high school. These thrived in the past because the best paying jobs - and a commensurate amount of girls and opportunities to pass along DNA - were blue collar construction and manufacturing jobs. Even before the industrial revolution, those with a strong back thrived at a higher rate. A perfect example of this is that the overwhelming majority of jobs created during the recent recession went to college grads. Or to put it another way, it's the Revenge of the Nerds. And the Hipsters.
3. Longer lives with improved health.Without a doubt, longevity has greatly contributed to our advancement. How many titans of the past 100 years, such as Steve Jobs and others, would have survived long enough to contribute in the preceding 100,000 years?
4. Less poverty, more freedom, democracy and egalitarianism. Natural selection will look much different when everyone gets a fair shake at life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. An example: Experts suggest that 1 in 200 men are descendants of Genghis Khan. To the victor goes the spoils, for a certainty.
5. The ascendancy of science and the rationals, closely linked to the above. For most of human existence, it didn't pay so much to be rational when feeling/perceiving/reacting were more likely to save your life and allow you to pass along your DNA. That is changing, as we (and when I say we I mean me) make fun of the feeler/perceiver/reactionaries now. Cause they deserve it.
6. The decline of religion. Need I say more?
7. An understanding by the world's inhabitants that we all need to get along and play along. Austria's vote yesterday is one example. The more we work together the less likely we are to kill one another.
8. A continuing reduction in overall rates of violent crime, rape, murder, etc.
Negatives (De-evolve):
1. Entitlement - Enabling sloth and irresponsible behaviors ensures we will see more of ithem. For 100,000 years these types of people didn't live long enough typically to pass along DNA. The cave and clan sent them packing to the wolves. Now we send them a check every month and allow them to breed.
2. Potential for cataclysmic events that could send us spiraling back into kill or be killed, eat or be eaten. Such as Global Nuclear War, Climate. If the fittest returns to being Genghis, we will backslide, as the gorilla will get the girls and pass along their DNA.
3. Lack of self control - Drugs, obesity are global threats. We molly coddle those lacking self control. And these are not diseases. They are personality shortcomings. I think the new Pres. of the Phillipines is onto something. We enable the weak willed, the obese, the addicts; we will get more of them, and that cannot be a good thing for our DNA.

The Book of Mormon
by dubstepped inmy wife and i went to see it today at the encouragement of some of our new friends.
we laughed until we cried, and it was so cathartic to sit in a room full of hundreds of people laughing at the ridiculousness of religion.
sure, the subject is mormonism, but it was very poignant and applicable to all religion.

I've seen it twice. Very funny. Anyone who can watch it and still believe in any of the Mormon nonsense is seriously deluding themselves.
I only wish some ex-dubs would make one about the DarkLords.

Religion, family structure and a successful life.
by SouthCentral inthis morning (12/3/16) on fox and friends ( a news show on the fox network) there was a great news piece.
it featured one of the newscasters and her parents, who happened to be the former governor of utah (jon huntsman).
religion ( the mormon church) has obviously played a large role in their family life.

Additional analysis:
Based on the Pew Research, American Jews overwhelmingly say they are proud to be Jewish and have a strong sense of belonging to the Jewish people, according to a major new survey by the Pew Research Center. But the survey also suggests that Jewish identity is changing in America, where one-in-five Jews (22%) now describe themselves as having no religion.
American Hindus are largely secular. Identifying as either Jewish or Hindu is in large part a cultural identity, as these two religions often place little emphasis on religious beliefs but value the cultural and social aspects of their legacy/tradition/struggle.
So, class, if the secular/atheist/agnostic Jews and Hindus self identified solely based on this rather than their religion, it is likely that the atheist/agnostic groups would have both the highest level of educational attainment and family income.
Geesh, y'all get this stuff for free. My clients pay a lot of $ for this kind of analysis.

Ok, lazy brained and just plan lazy, Prof DJS is once again doing the research for all you slackers and dullards.
Mormons are more likely than other religions to have some college, but they are average when it comes to the % of those with degrees. Nonetheless, some college, based on the data, translates into higher family income and family and individual functionality.
BTW, Hindus are No. 2: My GF is a (secular) Hindu. And an MD. All the Hindus I've met (again, anecdotal but supported by the empirical data) have either advanced college degrees (Hindus along with Jews have the highest level of educational attainment. Class, are we starting to see a correlation?) or own their own businesses.
Mormons rank in the middle of the pack for family income. The Dubs? Last place. From the Pew Research Foundation and from 2014:
