Hydrogen cars from the Oil Man? Yeah, right...I've got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn...1 dollar as is...you fix it
It's like the prez and Congress were on autopilot last night...until I noticed the groups of people NOT applauding everytime he opened his propagandizing mouth.
Those must be the White Knights...thank God for them...Bush's approval rating went from 34% to 35% last night, big deal.
NESARA NOW!
Anyway, time to rock in 20 minutes the CBC is going to show some REAL journalism!!! I just woke up now. Good morning! Time to fire up the digital recorder!

Congrats big time! Now contrast that outcome of real education vs. living the "theocratic" life at Bethel, special pioneering or missionary work...

Reading Older Publications Can Be Hazardous
by blondie inhow to use this index (1930-1985).
in view of the many years covered, the material indexed some decades ago should be viewed in the light of proverbs 4:18: "the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established.".
a lot of the real truth about the wts i have learned through their own publications.

So the current magazines should have a disclaimer of "Best Before January, 2011".
I guess the progressive light is a perishable product! If you shone that light out into space, it would disintegrate after 8 light years. Some bedrock of truth.

Saddam's Idiot Son Reveals Smoking Gun

Condolezza Rice has apparently told U.N. reps not to bother showing up for a March meeting. So we can surmise from that that this must get done within the next 8 weeks or so...
Saddam may well have links with terror networks, too, to hide the WMD. He's had 12+ years to do so. And the Palestinian suicide mentality seems to quickly infect otherwise peaceable people. And the country is principally populated with people that can't defend themselves, let alone live a decent lifestyle.
It will be hell, though, if the oil wells get set on fire again. Then nobody gets access to that spent energy. We may be forced to alternatives, sooner than later.
All of this is unsettling...there are no easy solutions.

"Thinking Ability " and The WTBTS
by Siddhashunyata ini recall an emphasis on "thinking ability" coming from the wtbts.
i believe the point was that a mind trained in bible principles would have excellent "thinking ability".. does any one recall if the wtbts ever discussed intuition or if they ever touched on ideas that implied a mental process that was more rapid, and more penetrating?
something that led to deeper, quicker understanding than the reasoning process itself ?
-

I think that if you mentioned "intuition", they would run the other way...since it would be considered occultish or too "spiritual". Unfortunately, the only time thinking ability is valued is when that thinking is theocratic, and based on organizational unity. To stifle questioning is a powerful tool of the propagandist.
To remain a Witness in good conscience, if that's possible, it's the stifling of thinking that's excercised through the meeting and study programs.

Hey Perry, guess what?
I'm gonna call you
an idiot!a swell guy for posting that...if that's altogether the truth, finding out France and Germany's motives for taking an anti-war stance deserved to be scrutinized, too, just like anybody else. Dirt is dirt, and all is fair, as long as the true dirt emerges and doesn't get swept under the carpet. I heard rumors about those connections, too, and I'm glad you took the time to dig. And no, you're not an idiot.I still think that much of this stuff is hidden in surrounding countries, too. And controlled by multiple groups of terrorists not affiliated with any one single country.
BTW Perry, I emailed you. I didn't appreciate your response in one of my threads. I'm letting you know. We can do better than to insult each other. You know it. I know it.

When one gets tired of rehashing WTS stupidity, they can go back to telling jokes, or debating political opinion, or whatever. It's that dynamic. I can agree or have somebody agree with me completely one day, and get sawed down the next, and come to a truce the day after. It's the classic lunch-bucket cross-section. Enjoy!
P.S. You'll find Simon the fairest, most tolerant and down-to-earth guy you'll find as anywhere running this DB, and that's a key ingredient, too.
