My oldest daughter Jennifer will graduate from Medical School on May 1st!
It was a long haul for her. She spent almost nine years as a full-time student at San Diego State University. She changed her major from journalism to pre-med in her junior year and had to take a ton more of classes to attain her major. She was just a semester away from a double bachelor's degree when she graduated. She told me that she never thought she could ever become a doctor, but was inspired to do so because she was able to see her younger brother and sister be born at home. I delivered her younger brother (who's now 22 years old) into this world. It wasn't planned that way, but it happened and that was one of the greatest moments of my life.
She then got accepted to Michgan State University in Lansing four years ago. She still has four years of Residency to finish as an OB/GYN. Seven years ago she had a license plate on her car that said "OB GYN 2 B." She MADE it!
She was never raised as a dub. A lot of miracles are possible for those who are never raised as a dub.
