when you were a believer did you give large donations to the society?
if so how much did you give?
i know an elder who's a chiropractor and he generously gives $400-800 a month to the society.

You made me think how many of us have life insurance policies written out to the Society if we die. Guess what,
if you don't change that then they'll get all that money if you die. So I urge anyone who has a policy get in touch
with your agent and have them canceled out for good.
prior to that we had been in a new congregation for about 9 months, and we were just irregular.
my husband rarely went, and i would go occasionally with our toddler son just enough to show our faces and keep the elders off our backs, and for the sake of some friendships in our old hall.
all of the reasons i had for going were just no longer important.

at the recent dc, we had the 1 hour drama on sunday that focused on trusting in jehovah, no matter what events come up.
in the opening scene, we see a father watching a news broadcast on tv, and he learns that jw's have been banned, overnight.. this got me thinking, again.
almost weekly, we hear about persecution coming, soon soon soon!

Unfortunately the ones that get hurt are the rank and file members. The society is sitting on a mountain of property and money.
Them crying poor mouth is just a bunch of garbage, they just want us to feel sorry for them. Well guess what we don't feel sorry for
them. We feel sorry for all those witnesses who need to come out of the WTS. So never stop talking about the truths that we know,
because who knows who we can help along the way. WATCH OUT WATCHTOWER.
in just the several months i've been lurking here, i have benefited from many of the posters comments and viewpoints.
this is truly a special place for the unique community that has been created here.. after years of holding off my exit from the org (that may be another post) i recently became officially out (by letter of da), but it was a very difficult process as many of you know.
thankfully, i now have my wife (was also a witness) onboard and we support each other.

not loving, not really hopeful, just threatening.
Just keep planting those seeds. How about leaving some information in the bathroom because a women always has to sit, and guess what
they may do some reading. How about that, because in general people are nosey and she'll be reading if she isn't already. Anybody can try
this because it really does work. It could work to your advantage.

Hello I feel for you. I'm glad you have your husband atleast you have him to talk too. I hope your taking your prenatal vitamins because that can help in some way to releive some of the depression your going through. If the weathers nice you should take a walk each day. Just by getting out can change your outlook on somethings. I hope you continue to write to us because theres always someone to respond to you. i had to take a break from jwn here because after all the drama that unfolded over a certain new anti-wt organization i had to back off because i had unbearable emotions and "flashbacks" to being a jw and being bullied.
even though i didn't experience any direct bullying, seeing it happen caused all the negative emotions to come back because i felt like i was back at the kingdom hall.
so i just left for awhile.. i've been having to do a lot of soul searching lately and reevaluating my life.

Just say what's in your heart. That's all you need to do is be honest, and be true to yourself. There are alot of deaf people out there that are JWS that can use your help especially if you know sign language. That's a great thing to want do. I don't know if your deaf or not. So the best way to do this is not to hide anymore. Fear is our worst enemy and the WTS is the one who put that fear into you and me. But we need to be strong enough, then we need to put that fear aside and move ahead. I'm rooting for you, you can do it. My husband and I send our love your way, so take care.

so the other day my mother wrote me a 3 page letter telling me how she was so scared for me because she could tell my love for the truth was gone etc.. so i decided i wanted to totally rip the band-aid off and get this matter over and done with.

What an encouraging thing you did with your parents. Don't you feel better now that you told them how you feel about the organization and their lies. It made me think each time everybody tells their parents your planting a seed. So they then have some doubt that will always be there, and maybe someday they'll break free. What a wonderful thing to think of with all those possibities out there. What a way to go. Keep up the good work.
