The present crop of old geezers on the GB will have cheerfully gone to their rewards by then, and while they take their dirt naps, new rulers will seek ways to discredit them and disavow any link to their insane pronouncements.

By Jove! I think you've got something there! Can we expect New Light from the younger, not from 1935, GB members in the near future? They could actually disavow the whole goofy mess and go main stream. They could get away with it. They could openly expose all the crap/ scandals blame it on them and wash their hands of the apostate old geezers. It could work.

i need to know if it is ok to devulge an e-mail message from someone and put it on the forum.

i am not sure at what point it becomes a betrayal of trust.

I am relatively new to the internet thing. I need to know if it is ok to devulge an e-mail message from someone and put it on the forum. I am not sure at what point it becomes a betrayal of trust. He has not said that it is secret info but it is perhaps personal. The information would be of interest to XJW's as it reveals some inside stuff about one of the scandals. I do not know why this person chose to communicate with me. Maybe being the elderly grandmother type doesn't scare him.

So give me some rules of etiquet here.

I participate in an on line forum at www.jehovahs-witness.com Rand Cam has gotten a lot of discussion there not necessarily for the engine although many have expressed an interest in that, but mainly because we discuss issues that pertain to Jehovah's Witnesses. We found it curious that the Watchtower owned 50% stock in Rand Cam even though Rand Cam has contracts with the Department of Defense. A rank and file Jehovah's Witness will get disfellowshipped and experience shunning from the congregation and even his own family if he works for a company that manufactures anything military. We find it hypocritical of the Watchtower Society to engage in that sort of behavior. The Watchtower's name is now off of the public record for Rand Cam at the site of the agency that regulates securities. We have not been able to find any record of a sale or transfer of stock to indicate if they do or do not still hold that stock. I was a Jehovah's Witness for 37 years. I left a year ago when I discovered that the Watchtower Society had been associated with the U.N. for nearly 10 years while telling us ( the rank and file) that the U.N. was the Scarlet Colored Wild Beast from Revelation. I will not put up with such hypocrisy. I still believe in the core theology of Jehovah's Witnesses. I just recoil at what the leaders have been doing behind the backs of the faithful. I withdrew my support of them. I hope that answers your question.

ok, so armageddon didn't come before the generation of 1914 grew old and died.

but does that mean that the big a isn't near?

One thing I just noticed as I saved the WT pages. The artwork is old rehashed - rehashed "seen that dozens of times" pictures. I have seen that guy in the mask several times. Wasn't he in the You can Live Forever book? The other pictures are all repeats too. Is the art department devoid of artists? Just wondering.

I was only half joking when I said:

If they tie in Gen 6:3 with 1914 they can buy themselves another 30 years. If Noah's Generation stretched 120 years the modern day Generation should not think they should be any different. Didn't Jesus say that when it all goes down it would be like Noah's day? I just see it now DON'T LOOK AT THE LIGHT CAROL ANN!!!

Yes know about that and other innermost share details of the original engine. I was the one that provided solutions to the inventor to make it work. Needless to say he ripped me off and am in the process of sueing all involved.

I do not think that it will deliver the fuel mileage as promised by the inventor Jim McCann. However I have the insight into the engine to deliver the 300 mpg. I can design my own engine based on the insight gained.

The reason for publishing the Rand Cam is to generate interest and making it work.

I have trouble visualizing the whole thing. Is there somewhere that I can get the basics into my brain? Do not tell me to think of the building disappearing and leaving the pipes. That mess on the screen does not look like any plumbing I have ever seen. My toilet looks like a toilet not a dogs hind leg.

well i guess i should give you my story as of now.

i have been a jw now for about 6 years and have been the model witness.

about a year ago i started reading my bible and writing down verses that i didn?t understand.

Here are two scriptures for you

Luke 21:8 "He said: 'Look out that you are not misled; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am he,' and 'The due time has approached.' Do not go after them."

Deuteronomy 18:22 "when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get frightened at him."

Read those in a few different translations for a well rounded idea of what is meant by them and think back on how many times the WT has predicted the end and the end has not come when they said.

It is enough to make anyone say What the....!

Worth Repeating - The Awakening

Some years back I had one of those moments. When I realized that no one can MAKE me happy, sad, mad, etc. Only I am responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. It was quite an awakening.

Thank you for sharing that. Now it is on my hard drive to be rediscovered on a day of future cleaning.
