i believe marijuana was very instrumental in getting me free from mind control.
that's how it happened to me,, i was at randy's site (freeminds) and reading an article on mind control,,,(when i'm stoned i like to read my comprehension seems to improve).

Frankie -- Okay, I have to admt it, you might not be total loonie, but you're pretty damn close. Dude, if you can only realize the WT if fake while under the influence of cannabis you have some MASSIVE issues to deal with (mostly biological issues). Your posts often are difficult to read and you seem like you're on another planet most of the time. I'm being cruel to be kind, but maybe it's time to reexamine your intake of mind altering substances?

i'm having great fun looking up stuff from the 60's and 70's that i recall causing me some astonishment at the time, even though i was still an active dubbie when they were published.

it's a 32 page brochure entitled, "keep on the watch!
" with the subtitle, "for what?

The brochure emphasizes that the destruction of Bablyon the Great by the political powers will come when it is least expected; there will be no "warning signs" leading up to the fall and it will be utterly shocking. This is because "God will put it into their [the political powers] hearts" to do such a thing. There are many philosophical and theological problems with such an action on God's part (free will anyone?).
Is it just me or are the publications getting lamer and lamer?

It doesn't happen to mention anything about the recent 120years scandal, does it?
The only "scandal" about the 120 year thing was in the minds of a bunch of ex-JWs who read into it. It's SO not an issue.
The last chapter about showing love - does it actually say that or is that just the title. "Above all else" - so if you show love you don't have to keep stupid WT rules?
To be fair, the phrase "above all else" does not negate other obligations. "Above all else" a parent should provide love for their children, but there are other things a good parent still must do (financial provisions, guidence, etc.) There's nothing inherently wrong with the title.
