i'd like to know what you think of the "all important, life saving preaching work".
even if this preaching was considered a success, it would not be able to save the billions of people on this earth.
recently, my mother told me how she believe that jehovah god is patiently keeping the door open, since every year, new ones come into the "truth".
The thought that Jehovah is holding Armageddon back and "keeping the door open" for more people to join the salvation club is silly since there will always be people coming into this or any other organization which actively recruits members. It's a very weak rationalization as to "why God is taking so long."

in my first essay on common fallacies former jehovahs witnesses commit in reference to the society i explained the error of generalizing individual witness behavior to that of the entire society.
the other errors i notice (to a certain degree i realize they are my opinions) are related to this, yet somewhat different.

Nor do you buddy. One only has to look at your metaphysical beliefs or the vitriolic way you have treated JWs in the past to find that out. (I'm refferring to your dismissal of them from your door a number of months ago) I stand by my original post in almost every way (save the title). To suggest that every JW teaching is wrong because it must not be questioned seems to be stretching the argument. Sorry, I don't buy that.

Personally, I don't see what's so unusual about this. Why, just the other day I was at the walking my cat when a man dressed up as the Creature from the Black Lagoon popped up wielding nun-chucks. Then I told him I'm an ex-witness and he left.

first of all, i am a "brother" in the congregation.
i'm not going to meetings, nor am i following your unwritten rules - but i am not df or da.. there are two articles in the june 15, 2003 watchtower that you should be ashamed of.. the first article is on pope alexander vi.. here, the article bashes the pope (whom by the way, i don't think deserves anything less).. however, the article talks about everything from him living in luxury, affairs and other bad stuff he's done.. and then the article brings out, (paraphrasing) "well, if this guy is so bad, what does it tell about the religion.".
Shame, shame, shame. I see London, I see France, I see Watchtower's ridiculous stance.

iiz2cool - it was not my nickname (i really don't think i'm all that cool), but that of an old friend named mike prezelj.
i won't go into how he got the name, but it happened when we were all very high, and you had to be there to understand.

Yes, I've heard that they are planning on re-making "Logan's Run." Unfortunately, I've also heard this for a long time and it doesn't appear to be coming out anytime soon. Hopefully, I can be an extra on the new film.
