I think Perry took that route. Are you rebuilding your relationship with God through the Watchtower?
I know you were struggling Space Madness so I'm pleased for you and hope you find some peace.
are their any former atheist/agnostic on here who reverted to christianity or a belief in god.
i became an atheist back in july and it was the most unfulfilling depressive period of my life.
i'm now starting to rebuild my relationship with god and i'm already starting to feel a lot better.

this is one question that trinitarians try to avoid because they have created a very embarrassing problem.
the bible is very clear when the angel tells mary that holy spirit will overshadow her and she will become pregnant.
the angel does not say the father will overshadow her but the holy spirit will and if the holy spirit is a person that would make him the father of jesus.
I find it a bit irritating that booker-t turns up on this board every couple of weeks and starts a few new threads (usually against born agains) which he rarely seems to revisit, perhaps doesn't even read.
last month a british teacher was tragically stabbed to death in the classroom.
today a member of my extended jw family posts this; check out his 'liked' comment.. .
where do you even begin .
It's certainly quite strange. Most JWs I know might write something like 'roll on the new system!' Wishing for the final day is a bit different.
the method i used lol.
1) be a good servant and make sure your wt and pub are always underlined every meeting(great for appearances).
2) comment every meeting(a "sure way" to know someones "spiritually qualified").
I am guessing also....born-in?
And father's already an elder also helps.

Athanasian creed: http://www.ccel.org/creeds/athanasian.creed.html
as i have mentioned here for many years there are some things i totally disagree with the wt society on but one thing i do believe they have right is that the earth is going to last forever.
one thing that has always amazed me with born agains that teach the earth is going to burn up is the scripture where jesus says "the meek will inherit the earth".
this is clear and plain and why would jesus outright "lie" about the earth if he knew it was going to burn up?
Dabster, surprised by hope is a good book but belief in a corporeal resurrection is currently a minority position in christian circles, which NT Wright often complains about. Booker-t does like to generalise however, and appears to have no interest in actual discussion.
Some good questions but it's always disappointing to me when people who like to lecture others on believing things without verifiable evidence buy into the Jesus = Horus nonsense.
recently had a discussion with a surgeon who said jw parents "usually" (her word, not mine) privately say they will take blood if the provider gets a court order.. yet another person, with no connection to dubs and no motive to make this up, saying this same thing.
interesting.. i'm surprised the thought police have not come out with an article saying jehoopla reads the hearts and judges as bloodguilty those who are relieved when forced to take blood..
That is interesting... I don't think I've ever met a Witness who thinks that getting a blood transfusion is actually helpful, most are convinced that blood transfusions are not just immoral, but also a poor medical choice.
two key scriptures in revelation give a description of btg, and by doing so, identify to whom the name "babylon the great" applies.
revelation 17:5,6 says, "babylon the great, the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth.
" and i saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of jesus".
Leaving quietly, it's not about being baptised into a religion, it's the fact that you can't participate in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's supper without a community of believers. By any normal definition that's a religion.

'one lord, one faith, one baptism' - so how do you do baptism without the use of religion Searcher?
