Nicholaus, you are right, Morley was the PO (May still be?) and the one who Otto sued, I was not in the hall long enough to make a judgement on how he ran things, though I know lesterkite was not a fan.
The story when I was there was that a lot of people were moving out the Congregation due to JWs finding it difficult to afford housing in the area, which I find somewhat plausible (Wimbledon is expensive and JWs don't tend to have a lot of money of course) though perhaps it was a combination of things. Again, Lester might know more.

I attended this hall for a few months 6 years ago and it was not a particularly thriving congregation then, there's also the big hall on Haydon's Road Station only a few minute drive away which is pretty new so I am surprised the Wimbledon one has been going this long.
I just checked the JW.org website and the address of the Wimbledon cong is showing as Haydon's Road so this news seems to be true.

Diane Abbott is in the shadow cabinet because her political views align closely with the Labour leader's views (more so than the majority of the party's Mps) and because she has shown loyalty to the Labour leader when the other party Mps tried to force him out.
Black women have been highly underrepresented as Mps and in the cabinet, being a black woman is not a path to easy street, white people who tell them their achievements are down to 'colour' is one of the extra obstacles black women need to overcome to achieve political ambitions that white men never have to face.

It seems pretty common to have people rise up into significant political positions whilst being clearly unqualified for the role, the majority I can think of throughout history are white men so if we're going to blame skin colour/gender for unqualified politicians I would think we should blame token hand outs to white men first.

Do we know they have negative growth? I am not convinced, in Britain I could only find 9 JW charities that have closed last service year, year before I found 20 closed, and they still had growth, but I don't know how often the charities commission update their records (each separate congregation is a registered charity in Britain)
I suspect money issues were a bigger part of the decision to end the yearbook than a desire to hide the annual report. I am pretty confident they are heading towards decline, but not sure they are yet.
