Obviously, if God doesn't exist, and/or the Bible is false we have little to worry about within this thinking system. I suppose it was a question posed within the "confines" of Christian Philosophy.

Today mankind is still as dispensible as they were during the mosaic covenant. Does this make sense?
Its a very important question and worth discussing. What if, like during King David's time, the choices that the Governing Body makes will determine whether we live or die? Is that reasonable? Are human beings dispensible as individuals? Or did the ransom of Jesus Christ actually mean something.
Do we have a better grasp of the words at John 3:16 when we look at how Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey had to deal with the convenant people? Because they were the covenant people. They'd made a deal... but isn't that why we have a new covenant, so that we are free of that dire consequence of sin.
Most likely you will all agree on that point. With that framework in mind, my question to you is... who are the ones destroyed at Armageddon?

Personally. I wouldn't worry about the Great Tribulation until Isreal is united under one king (via Isaiah's prophesy). But that's just me. I stress that my opinion is not inspired of God (or beneficial for teaching, preaching or setting things straight). But yeah. Besides, I'd like to make the general disclaimer, that any of us who were first indoctrinated by JW teachings, might want to take a second look at what we even mean when we say "Great Tribulation". For me, it was wonderful to read through the prophets again, and think in my own terms.
Anyway. I agree that a "third world war" is nothing to really panic about. Start to worry about the Revelation after the US falls, or takes over the world. One or the other in my opinion. Either the United States has to be cleared out to make way for the Peace and Security, or the USA will be that Peace and Security. One or the other, again, I stress, in my personal opinion.
Think for yourselves everyone. And remember, it wouldn't be a search, or a narrow gate, if we were just given all the answers.

their are still some things that are hard to explain and most simply doesnt need explaining who cares?

I had something happen to me once. I was about twelve or thirteen years old, I was living with my mom who wasn't a JW, and I wasn't either at the time. But I'd been asleep in bed when suddenly I woke up to this huge earthquake. The dog was barking, and my bed was shaking and the walls were shaking and widows were rattling... and it scared me out of my mind. In fact, I was unduly terrified by it all, and started to scream bloody murder. I'd never screamed like that before, or since. It was one of those gutteral truly terrified screams. Anyway, I shared a room with my sister, who after hearing me scream and jump down off my bed, started to do the same. It never crossed my mind that the whole thing might not be happening, and I felt the "shaking" for what felt like two or three minutes. It was kind of funny in that my sister couldn't understand why I kept stopping in all the doorways (she'd thought there was an intruder in the room or something) and my whole family looked at me strangely as I fought to open up the front door. I remember my Mom asking, "Why are you trying to get outside! What's going on!" And after I yelled, "We have to get outside before the earthquake starts again! It might be bigger the next time!" Everyone gave me this very dry look.
I was very surprised when they told me there had been to earthquake.
Still, none of us slept well in the nights that followed. It was a long time before I felt really safe going to bed. I don't really think it was demon related, but to this day I can't explain what happened to me that night. Maybe just a vivid hallucination. Thankfully nothing has ever happened like it since.

there were several different careers that the wts did not aprove of.
such as a being a cop, for having a gun.
couldn't be a martial arts instructor.. maybe it was a well paying career.. did you have a job that was not approved of?
There are some Journalists in the Organization, but I'm sure they have to watch what they endorse very carefully. In fact I know of one specifically who works for The Sun.
I remember my father was at the cutting edge of the tech boom in the 1980's... he could have been extremely successful, but let go of his job so that he could go door to door. Now he works part-time as a systems analyst, and just lost our childhood home. He says he's happy with being and elder and pioneering, but I can see it in his eyes... he doesn't really feel fulfilled.
It makes me really sad to think of all the things my Dad could have acheived. He uses his genius to further the organization. It would be extremely noble... if they actually represented the true God. Unfortunately, he is really just another slave for this system of things. It's tragic, and ironic.
as a youngster raised in the "truth", i had my questions.
but anytime you ask a question that is unanswerable, you are told to just wait on jehovah.
as time passes, i believe that we store up a number of unanswerable questions that forces one to eventually think about everything.
For me, it was realizing how mistranslated the NWT is. Just compare John 1:1 to any greek interlinear, and the falsehood is clear. In fact, many versus are obviously a bias translation, and some are just plain wrong! It was extremely scary to find that they would actually alter God's Word, and from there is was only a matter of time before everything came to light.
