Doodle, there is definatly a strong familial resemblance with your brother. Thank you for sharing the picture. I have to agree with those who said that your brother was brave to stick with his convictions in the face of his illness. At my grandfathers memorial service the speaker said that he believed right up until the end. That was strangely comforting to me. I realize that was probably one of his true comforts as he suffered through an extreme amount of pain; the conviction that he was doing what was right.
There is definatly a finesse about timing how and what you say to your JW parents. Right now is obviously not the right time to get into too much as it would probably do more harm than good. It's great that you've held your tongue so well. I would struggle to do the same.
Like everyone else said, we're here to listen if you need to talk. It's wonderful that your husband is so supportive of you. You are obviously a special person and so is he.
