We didn't get Sadam, the Kurds did and Bush created another phoney media event with 600 US troops storming a home with TV cameras (like the Jessica Lynch scam) where they had told the Kurds to deposit him in exchange for a promise of power for the Kurdish leader

I'd like to see your proof as well. That would be interesting although, not surprising.

Sunnygal, I'm a Kucinich fan as well although, it's not looking promising for him. I think he's far too progressive for most Americans. Damnit!

What's The Kindest Thing Anyone's Ever Done For You???

sometimes we focus on some negative things about our lives and that often serves a helpful purpose in our healing.

but if we concentrate on something positive, can you recall something that struck you for its kindness?

one thing i will never forget is the men and women who went into action to try to save thousands of people in nyc on september 11th.

I've had alot of kindness shown to me. I suppose I am very fortunate. I've had people worry about me and then yell at me when I didn't let them know I needed help. There are people out there that I love so much it almost hurts. I won't go into details cause that's not me. The people out there on this forum who I love know I love them.

Aside from this place I had a teacher in the tenth grade who cared about me and my education very much. He was a new teacher; very passionate about his chosen career. He took me under his wing and encouraged me quite a bit. He always cast me as the lead when he did his quiz/plays. He was kinder to me than anyone I knew had been at that point in my life. He saw potential in me that few before had ever mentioned and I miss him for that reason the most. Yes, I was a teacher's pet. So what! I hope he's still encouraging other young people with the same vigor.

today i had an interesting conversation, not with a christian believer but a muslim believer, .

he was trying to recruit me into the faith--so i thought i would pose the question to him about why his god watches as 20,000 believers (muslims) women, children, etc lost thier lives-.
