ThiChi, you and I have gone around and around more than once. I'm a big enough person to admit that nothing I say will convince you and vice versa. If it makes you feel big, go ahead and proclaim yourself a victor. I'm going to explore art and culture so I have no time today to go on and on via the internet over something so silly as who is the most admired man in the US. I don't even live in the US anymore so why should I care?

Stacy, I've been reading articles posted by ThiChi for over a year now. I've had my fill. He isn't budging and neither am I so it's pointless. I've read and read till my head hurts. Okay I'm gonna answer this question quickly and decisively; the incumbent president is nearly always the most admired man despite his party affiliation or what he has done in office. No matter what anyone says, a man is only a man and he only has so much influence and power. I can't stand Bush but I don't think he's got so much influence as to be really feared. His administration is an atrocity against humanity and they do have an influence. I wish they could all be thrown out including Spence Abraham from my home state of Michigan. They are a lying bunch of self serving politicians. I hope Bush, Cheney et al get kicked to the curb in 2004 because I just plain don't like them or the way they do things.

i had a fabulous time in oaxaca city, and on the oaxacan coast-i'm all brown and relaxed, and i now know i don't care for the moles (had a few of those made by the premier chefs of oaxaca-didn't make nasty faces, but they just don't do it for my palette).
looked at (and bought) some fabulous art, and generally stayed "medicated" as much of the time as possible.
i saw no sign of jw activity, in either place, but saw the obligatory pair of mormon boys on the coast, in their starched shirts and ties in 85 degree heat with 90 percent humidity.
Great that you enjoyed yourself Shoshana! I'd like to hear more about the culture there if you have time to elucidate more on it. As would be indicitive of my name I'm fascinated by the culture of the Natives of Central America. Happy Belated Chanukah and Birthday to you!
