generally speaking i love canadians, i don't think in real life i've ever had reason to fault them, i've only met half a dozen or so.
but i like canadians.
ameri .... now stop right there, you know you love them too, much wackier but still likeable enough, for all their daftness.
I'd respond but, I'm American. Sorry...

the bush administration has quietly withdrawn a 400-member military team.
it sent to baghdad to scour iraq for evidence of unconventional weapons.... .

And people don't believe me when I say that the US changed their reasons for going to war with Iraq several times. Ummm, sure. If they had started out with the reason of liberating the Iraqi's from Saddam and stuck with it I could've gotten behind it..perhaps. As it is, the Bush administration has lost all credibility with me and a lot of others. Not that it had a lot to start out with but, it could have made gains IMO. Oh well....

Clark in 2004!
i have proof that jesus is not god , not in the sight of eyes but in words.
alright check this out!
im not gonna give out too many details only a few, some might agree & some might not agree,.
Nobody stood out to me in particular..... yet.
Bwahahahaha! You'll learn quick enough. I'm not a fan of know-it-all's either. Anyone who openly acknowledges being closed-minded turns me off immediatly. *Not gonna name names*

it always bothered me that i couldn't even stay awake to thank my god.
i found out later many did the same.
We don't fall asleep when talking to our loved one in bed.
We don't?

i have a "working" interview tomorrow for a really great, high-paying job!!!
i'm so excited, just last week i was despairing that i hadn't recieved a single response to all the resumes i'd sent.
the only problem is that i'm a smoker, and it's a smoke free workplace, so i have to hide my dirty little habit!!!
Hey Maybies, I wouldn't lie about smoking. Just because you work in a smoke free environment doesn't mean you can't smoke in your free time. Sheila had some good suggestions for what to say. I agree. Again, good luck!

welcome to the continent of north america.. within this continent, which includes also the carribbean islands, and central america, it's not one (1) country, but a collection of different countries.. i have noticed, quite a bit actually, with our friends from across the pond (atlantic ocean), especially those that reside in great britain/united kingdom, yes even the republic of ireland, of their generalities with regards to the term: america.. heaven forbid, i would guess if you lumped all brits in with europe/europeans.
wrong.. my experience has been that, most brits consider anything over this way.....the other side of the atlantic as: america.
thus to other nationalities within north america: that means: the u.s.a.. to a north american: when you say "america" it means: the united states of america.
Also, I assure you, the majority of the US born, do not give a crap about European countries, much less about the rest of their own American neighbors, from Canada all the way down to Argentina. We make fun or belittle every other country in the world. Yet, ironically, most of the rest of the world, worship Americans and everything American.
Wow, heyfea, you just managed to exemplify the typical American stereotype that so many of us Americans try to tell others isn't the norm. I don't think I've read many other posts that I found quite as arrogant or insipid. And yes, despite what my profile says, I am American.

Good luck! Just be calm and act confident even if you don't feel that way. A good facade never hurts!

my employers' intranet website recently posted for a position located in cincinnati (which is about a 2 hour drive from columbus, where i live).. the requirements/skills listed on the posting seemed right up my alley, so i submitted my app online.
today i get an email from the hr lady asking me when i can interview.. i'm so nervous about this!
i've never lived far from home, and i'm very close with my family, to be honest they're all i've got, i don't have friends or a social circle to speak of.
Go for it Dan and good luck! You've already met a few people down there so it's not like you won't know anyone. Plus, Cinci is a cool city! It's very clean and there's a decent amount of stuff to do. Moving away from my family was a bit hard too but, I liked the privacy of having them over an hour away. Keep us up to date.
