  it's getting down to the wire folks and i'd like to hear your predictions for the stanley cup winner.

  of course i am picking the red wings because they are the best but, i'd give the canucks a fair shot at it.

  I predict that Collorado and Detroit will make it to the Western finals. I think Toronto and Ottawa will do the same in the Eiast.

  I love the Staars and Canucks but they aren't ready yet. I wish them both much success in the future.

  I predict Detroit will take it all despite their injuries yesterday.

  I applogize for any misspellings as I am hella sick. I promise not to puke on the computer. Yuck!

  stuck in the middle of friggin nowhere,actually 50 miles north of nowhere!(lol!

  ) so far i`ve survived fire storms,drought,floods,snow storms,wild animals,bin robbed and left for dead.this just isn`t any fun (lol!

The Canucks are good this year but, they need to marinate a few years before they'll be really good. Give them time and no-one will be able to stop them.

  Agent Smith, you should move up to Hockeytown. We don't much like the Av's here and, personally, I'm sick of everyone talking about Brodeur. He's not that good.

  Badger, the Blooz will be lucky to make the playoffs. I think the Flames have a better shot...LOL!

  Heathen, okay, point taken. I still think the Wings have the best shot. I like the Stars but, I don't think they are going to win it all. But then, I live closer to the hockey hall of fame than you do and we'll see what happens...

  Are you going to the memorial

  i was asked by my mother today "are you going to the memorial this year".

  i declined most graciously and said thank you for thinking of me, and although i haven't been for the last eight years i thought no more of the ritual invitation.. then suddenly it dawned on me that my mothers response was quite abrupt and something along the lines of "well i have done my christian duty by asking you".

  it was if she was literally washing the blood from her hands and she had tried to save me yet again.. has anyone else experienced this my mother has always talked to me with all civility about the "truth", i just wondered if there is new counsel now in how to deal with daughters and family that have fallen by the wayside.. appreciate your help.
