  Where the hell is everyone????????

  i have seen the board slow before but sheesh!!!!!!!

  i understand the holidays are amoung us, but being that it's friday is everyone out partying (i will be later .

  Are you ashamed to admit you were a JW?

  how do you feel about telling people you were a jw, does it make you feel like admiting you were a flasher or some strange perv?.

  i told a lady the other day who asked about what i was doing for christmas, that i used to be a jw, but i had to make sure she knew i was brought up as one by my parents , just so she didn't think it was my choice.. she thought i was very brave for leaving though.

  Honestly no I don't at all feel ashamed to admit it. It may be because I was raised in it and had no choice but still I have gotten to know people so much better because of it. My best friend was raised a Catholic and is now a Pagan and he and I have related to each other through common f'd up childhood experiences. There is much light at the end of the tunnel...

  Okay, I am also an optimist...LOL shoot me now...

  Most unintentionally funny scene in a movie

  in the original superman, where superman sticks the flag back on top the white house, and says "i stand for truth, justice, and the american way"; this never failed (the couple of times i saw it in the cinema as a kid) to reduce the audiences to tears of laughter (in enlgand).. in the blair witch project, where she's doing the "i'm sorry" bit in the super-big-close-up nostril shot; hilarious.. the bit in jurassic park where the lawyer gets eaten; the audience i was with cheered.... .

  If you have seen "Bowling for Columbine" you might find this funny. When Michael Moore asks Charton Heston why there is more gun related violence in the US when Canada has an equally large amount of gun ownership he responds by saying (not an exact quote) "Because we have more immigrants". LOL

  He could have said aliens btw I can't remember...the point was the same....LMFAO!!!!

  The World's First Human Clone

  Just because a person was cloned means nothing. A clone is a person too. All it means is that someones genetic code was replicated. She is a baby just like any other. Does anyone remember test tube babies and invetero fertilization? It's not really that big of a deal. Or are you all picturing scenes from "Attack of the Clones"?

  I'm a bit suspicous of the source though..the "Realiens"? Child protective services should remove the child so she can have an autonomous childhood. Just my opinion...
