  I know who Third Eye Blind is Stefanie. They sing that song "Jumper". I like that song and their name. Is that Stephan Jenkins in your pic? I thought it looked kinda like Bono.

  Well Random at least I wasn't busy playing Legend of Zelda I looked quite good I thought...LOL

  I always wanted to learn some form of martial arts as a kid but it's definatly a no-no for a JW. I was told something about it being a spiritual practice. I can't remember what exactly. I think it will do wonders for him because he really needs to learn some self-discipline.

  I may take a class myself cause, yes Ruby, I can use it to fight off the pervs and JW's.

  Hey b2df, System is an awesome band! Don't even say break up. Rage was a great band too. They aren't the same without Zach though. I do love Chris Cornell but he's just not the same. Have you checked out Audioslave (Rage with Cornell)?

  You're right about the state of rock music though. It's almost sad the way it's going. Ah well at least there's some decent rap to listen to.

  This is my favorite band:

  System of a Down! They are awesome live!

  I love punk and rap too. Especially the old school stuff. Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Misfits, NWA, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys and even 2 live crew. Oh and who else misses Kool Moe Dee, Biz Markie, and Newcleus.

  Some of the newer stuff is good. I like Outkast alot and The International Noise Conspiracy, the Hives...and the perennial classics like Sonic Youth and Violent Femmes.

  I think I may pop in a Bloodhound Gang cd just for fun.

  Geeky things you did when you were a kid

  we were a very geeky bunch of late 70's-early 80's suburban american white boys in my neighborhood where i grew up.. but my all time favorite one that makes me laugh every time i think about it, was how we rigged up parachutes to our bikes using twine and trash bags.

  we would ride down the street as fast as we could, and then let the parachute out, which was tied to the end of our banana seat.

  we thought we were cool funny car racers.. another one was inventing a previously unheard of cuss word that we could use around adults while winking at each other and giggling.

  well, i put up a valiant struggle, but katie finally dragged me onto the plane on our way to las vegas for our wedding.. .

  we got to our hotel (the flamingo), and as we walked into our room we saw the message light flashing on the phone.

  " it was room service, said they had something for us, would we be in the room for the next hour?

  Wow! Very cool art. I love Vettriano too. He's very popular here. I've sold alot of his work! Ansel Adams rocks. I have alot of B&W photography in my home. I also like Gaudi, Erte, Klee, Giger, and alot of the older Japanese art. I wish I had time to post pics of all my favorite pieces...
