Special Post: 1 year anniversary on JWN - My intro finally posted
by Awakened at Gilead ini came on jwd a year ago tomorrow, having realized that jws were not the truth, quite painfully, on march 29, 2008. i was here within a week, and within 2 months i was officially dad by my congregation.. ever since joining, i have never actually wrote down a comprehensive look at why i left the organization.
what doubts caused me to leave?
why did a gilead grad leave what i once considered so precious?.

I enjoyed you story. Thanks for sharing it with us. YOu mention about all the doubts you had and tucked all away. I think that many many Jw have similar doubts but somehow put them aside hoping that at some point these will be cleared up.
I can remember discussing and disagreeing with things the society would write with my pioneer partner, but then we would say "oh well, Jehovah will straighten things out".
For some people those doubts eventually will help them see the light. They did for me. My pioneer partner is still tucking them away.

For example, Justin Martyr, who lived 100 years after the death of Christ. These writings will help you have a clear view of the first christians and the teachings of the christ.
A commentary that I aften use is Matthew Henry. I noticed that Matthew Henry has been suggested by other posters on this forum.
True living a double life is no fun, but at times personal circumstances necessitate it.

Dopo 30+ anni devota alla torre, il riconoscimente che watchtower non e quello che pensavo---mi porto' quasi alla pazzia. e vero!. Ho passato delle giornate, settimane e mesi tristi e depressivi. Avrei voluto abbandonare tutto purtroppo questo non e stato possibile. E non lo e fino ad oggi. Resto intrappolate! anche se lo faccio per la mia cara famiglia e amici d'infanzia che continuano a trovarsi nel tentacolo della torre.
Mantieniti forte e continua a nutrire la tua fede leggendo la Bibbia a parte dei preconcetti dell' organizzazione. Cerci i scritti dei primi padri. Per esempio, Giustino Martire che visse 100 dopo la morte del Cristo. Questi scritti ti aiuteranno ad avere una chiare veduta dei primi cristiani e l'insegnamento di Cristo.
Un commentario che spesso uso e quello di Matthew Henry. Noto che Matthew Henry e stato suggerito dal altri su questo forum.
Certo che vivere uno doppia vita non e bello, purtroppo a volte le circostanze individuale lo necessitano.
